Had them for a couple of years, and now they barely illuminate the stairs they're right above.

Turned up quickly, do the job ok don't know how safe they will be , time will tell.

Converted kitchen downlighters to LED. Bulbs work fine but are too "warm" and dim. Could have done with a brighter colour.

So I was trying to find LED's the 'same' size as original halogen lamps, I thought these would be close and they are but still to large for the caravan fittings I wanted them in. The lamp will fit and power on at an angle but you can't fit original cover back on. I tried removing the bump on the top of the diffuser but the lamp would still not fit correctly. I decided to void the warranty and carefully split the cover with a knife (once you get it starting to split you can pull it apart with your fingers. As you can see from the images the difference in size between halogen and 'naked' LED fitting. REMEMBER this is a 12v lamp, I would not even consider doing something like this with a 240v lamp due to the high chance of electric shock! Regarding brightness, these are brighter than the original 12v 10w Halogen G4.If they were slightly smaller then I would have given 5*

Used to replace 20w halogen capsule in a desk lamp, not as bright, but bright enough. Warm white colour temperature was ok.

I bought these to replace some bulbs in my overhead extractor fan above my hob, they were cheap, a lot lower wattage than the halogens that kept blowing, and potentially more resilient than the halogens.The outcome, not good. So far, the bulbs haven't blown and they are at least as bright as the halogens they are replacing... but, they only stay on for about 30 seconds and then go out and won't come back on again for a good hour, this could be to do with dodgy wiring in the cooker hood, and I'm more likely to suspect this than the bulbs, but it is not the result I was looking for.

I bought these to replace the 2 quartz-halogen G4 lamps in our Neff hob canopy/extractor. I replaced the original bulb that had failed (a tight fit, but no real problem): the led replacement works fine but is definitely slightly less bright. (I measured the current drawn as approx 140mA, so under 2W.) I decided to replace the second bulb (which was still functioning). However, when I switch on, there's a flash from both bulbs, then just a slight glow. I've now replaced the working quartz bulb and everything is fine with one of each type. Guess I'll have to replace the driver with one that is happy supplying the much smaller current needed by the leds.

Used as replacement for traditional halogen kitchen worktop lights, same size as the original - useful when used in compact fittings. A great bonus is they produce much less heat than the halogen versions. They have worked perfectly for several months so far.
