Ideal for my Franke sink
I've been searching for this kind of dish drainer for months! And finally I found it. It fits ideally into the second bowl of our two-bowl Franke sink, so I don't need to use the tray - the water drains stright into the sink (which is much more hygienic than to accumulate in the tray). It fits very firmly into the sink's rim, so it is very secure (not wobbly). The aluminium construction is easy to clean and promises long-term service without the worry of plastic/enamel/thin coating peeling off the wires. It is relatively small, but this is not a problem for a small household. We are not using it with the tray it came with, but it seems that the tray is also very well cosntrycted and should pose no problems with sturdiness or standing water. Very much recommended and worth every penny.

Spacious, light for its size but some aspects could be better for the price
First things first, I want to clear up the dimensions of this product, since they are not well specified by the seller and even asking these questions on amazon everyone except 1 person (Doug Hill - thank you) gave me the wrong information. Note, this for the Kingrack "2 tier with chopping board holder":-The total length of the aluminium frame (without the cutlery basket, draining board or cup rack attached) is 46.8cm. The thickness of the aluminium bars can be between 0.7-0.9cm - on mine the inner length of the aluminium frame is 45m. In other words, a chopping board of 46cm length won't fit.-The total width of the aluminium frame (with the supplied chopping board holder attached) is 35cm, the total inner width is 33.4cm.-Height of the product is 12.3cm on the lower tier and 17.2cm on the upper tier - with the 2nd tier attached the height becomes 28.2cm-With all the other attachments (cutlery basket, draining board, cup rack and chopping board holder), the total length is 58.2cm and the total width is 41.5cm.There may be some slight differences between individual items but I've done my best to be as accurate as possible. For the actual review... it is overall a good rack, reasonably well designed from a functional perspective, well designed from a style perspective, very spacious but relatively light and seems pretty sturdy. The drain tray, which was an important selling feature for us, works very well. It is not warped and unlike other products sits at a good angle level to allow water to flow straight into the sink without collecting puddles. It doesn't have "moving parts" i.e. a rotating spout and is just a flat tray - but this is good because the more moving parts for the drainage there are, the more places there could be a leak, and also it becomes more fiddly to clean. The rods of the rack itself seem to bend a wee bit more than say a stainless steel rack, but then again it is aluminium and they bounce back. If they do eventually irreversibly bend I will update the review. I would say good for households between 2-4 people, depending on how many items you use to cook your meals of course. This rack is however pretty pricey, although slightly cheaper than the premium end e.g. Joseph Joseph. There are therefore some things that I'd expect to be better for the price tag:-The bowl rack just doesn't hold any of my bowls. I don't know what kind of bowls it does hold... I'm currently not using at all because I need to use the 1st tier for my pots and the bowl rack would be in the way-The cutlery basket could in some ways be more secure in it's position. When there is nothing in it, the base of the cutlery basket sits at an angle where water can flow out the holes and onto the drainage tray. However, if you put enough cutlery in the basket it sags, which means that at some point water pools in the bottom. Design-wise, adding a second attachment hook at the lower part of the cutlery basket that could grab onto another part of the aluminium frame would stop this from happening.-The other thing about the cutlery basket is that the holes at the bottom are quite wide and some smaller bits of our cutlery (e.g. handles or knives) can fall partly though them.-The chopping board holder is a reasonable addition especially if you have an oversized board (which I do). However, it doesn't sit above the drainage tray, so drips onto my worktop. Not a lot because it is only one or two items, but it defeats the object of the drainage board nonetheless.-I appreciate the rubber tips to the cup rack - I feel my cups are more protected. The only thing I've noticed is that it doesn't attach very well to the frame. Sometimes I knock it lightly and comes unhooked. This probably could be made better.-The rack itself, even when there are items on it, doesn't sit on all four legs i.e. there must be some bend somewhere. This is probably just related to the fact that it is aluminium, but worth mentioning anyway.I'm pretty pleased with rack (so far), but there could be improvements.

Does the job
My experience is that chromed wire draining racks tend to rust or corrode, and plastic ones to warp or discolour. I thought aluminium might prove a more durable and attractive option. The aluminium rack itself is attractively designed, with pleasant curves. It is a good size - it fits on the draining board beside my sink, leaving enough room for some other stuff beside it. It seems solid and stable despite its light weight, and it holds plates and dishes securely upright. However the structure is braced by hard plastic bars across the bottom which to me look rather brittle. The drip tray (which I'm not using) and the cutlery drainer are made of thin and rather softer plastic that doesnt hold shape too well.Overall, it looks good and works ok, but it is probably not going to wear that well?

High quality, low profile
This draining rack wasn’t the least expensive, but with its high quality build, was well worth it. Extremely sturdy and beautifully designed to blend with the sink basin. Dishes are supported with ease, and cutlery holder can be attached on either side. So nice to not have a sink drain sticking up like an eyesore as one’s eyes glance around the kitchen. Worth every penny!
