Little AdventuresMedieval Princess Dress Up Costume

absolutely gorgeous, from the rich colors to nice details. we have another little adventures dress, i think it is supposed to be the disney rapunzel, which we also love, and this one even exceeded our expectations based on that.i got the X-large for my little girl who is a six years old, just over 4" tall, and who wears a 7-8. it fits well with room to grow, i am sure she will wear it for another year.we are actually not into disney movies, we bought it because the colors went with my daughter's idea of being a "forest fairy god-mother" for halloween, since it was not pastels like a lot of other princess dresses. it worked perfectly with her crown of autumn leaves and flowers and deep orange cape.the colors are so beautiful- it is this deep forest teal color, with very nice gold accents. it is pretty and a bit fancy but not gaudy or cheap at all- very nice. all the details are very well done and overall everything is good quality, especially for the price. this is like ten times better than what you would find at target or wal-mart. it doesn't even compare. i am sure there are somewhat nicer ones out there, but they probably cost twice or more what this one is. my daughter immediately oooohed and ahhhed over the pretty details and lush teal fabric. it is not extremely heavy but i would not say it is flimsy either. i expect this dress to last well beyond my daughter to another little girl or two who it will inevitably be handed down to. her other little adventures dress has been worn over and over for two years and looks only 'gently used', it is still holding up well. i think this one looks even a little nicer so it will probably last a long, long time. good to know it isn't just destined for the landfill like so many kid's costumes.i also like that for halloween it was warm enough, my daughter wore layers underneath and was fine outdoors in slightly above freezing temps. i always go for halloween costumes that have the ability to wear layers under as we live in missouri. another nice thing i like it that it is a great addition to the "dress up basket" going into winter. my daughter pulls it out often. if you are a free-spirited mom like me, you won't mind your daughter wearing it out in public, as my little dreamer wants to do at times. we always get compliments on it, as it looks so nice and very different from typical cheap-o princess dresses.also it is easy for her to pull over her head and it is comfortable. however she does insist on wearing a leotard or shirt under it because she is sensitive to seams of any kind on her chest or waist. i checked and the seams are well done and not scratchy at all, my daughter is just particular about that kind of thing, as some children are. but a little tee or tank or leotard is all she needs to make herself comfortable.i highly recommend this, and anything from this brand. your little princess will love it!

This is really sturdy. Its normal clothes quality. She can wear it out to play and I don't have to worry about it ripping. It really is amazing. Very soft and she was thrilled.

My granddaughter loved wearing this dress to the Renaissance festival. So many people complemented the princess throughout the day. Very well crafted dress, and she'll have fun playing dress-up until she outgrows it.

My daughter loved it. Perfect for Renaissance Festival wear. It's not costume shop trash like most of what you find online. Washes and wears fine.

My daughter and I LOVED this! The colors were gorgeous! The thickness of the dress showed quality! The sheer pieces were essentially non existent. The comfort was the only concern for my daughter. There was gold fabric that scratched her in the armpit area. She couldn’t handle it....and she doesn’t even have any sensory issues...so that may be a concern....but it’s a beautiful dress up costume!

The picture on Amazon is absolutely beautiful and the dress looks a lot like it but not the same: it absolutely needs some kind of under clothing to give it the fullness “advertised” and it is deceiving that it does not come with it when so many other princess or dress up dresses on Amazon do come with the extra tulle or under dress that would give it the lift and poof that it needs to really shine. Especially for the cost of this compared to other dresses it’s a little pricey that it doesn’t come with what it needs to really shine. Without it, it’s pretty but really flat and the arms are too long without the poof in the shoulder.

I had to go a size up for it to for my daughter like the picture but she loved it. Material was perfect thickness. It wasn’t puffed out like the picture so that was disappointing but she loved it anyway. Washer safe.
