Great for yard work
Bought these to work out in the yard. Perfect for days after rain and itโs muddy out. Very good for wide feet. No issues with durability at all

Just buy them
Wish I wouldโve bought these about 2 years ago for feeding and watering my livestock.

Great boot for the boat... and puddles!
I bought these boots for use on the boat during the spring and fall but I've actually found that they are great for muck boots and general chores around the yard as well. They're easy on, easy off and seem rather durable thus far. I've been in a lot of mud with them! My only complaint is that I wish they were a little taller.

Great deal
I got these for a great deal! They were way cheaper than other stores and that was super nice. Theyโve kept my feet dry, theyโre super comfy, and theyโre just a well built, short rain boot.

Really quite good
Used for offshore sailing in March in Northeast and they were pretty great. Even with woolsocks though my feet got a little cold at times and clammy. But I sort of expected this anyways. ALSO the coating on the top of the toe area/middle front is starting to peel after only 2 weeks! But what the heck maybe it's just aesthetic.

XTRATUF? More like XTRALEAKY, or XTRACHEAPLY-MADE-IN-CHINA...
I admit it. I got fished in by all of the positive reviews.I bought these boots for dog-walking during the rainy season on Vancouver Island. On the surface, this boot looks and feels great. It's easy to get on and off--thanks to the loops on either side of the boot. There's even a neat little nub near the heel that you can use as a pivot point to use the toe of one boot to take off the other. The problem is that when I shop for a rubber rain boot, I expect it to be waterproof--especially when it costs me over $100.00.Well, the joke was certainly on me.Imagine my surprise when, after only three months of use, the rubber split at the top of the left boot after only three months of use, followed, a week later, by a split on the top of the right boot.If you're doing your research, and read this review, you should consider the fact that most people seem to submit reviews before they've had the product long enough to assess its quality/durability, which drives me crazy, and defeats the whole purpose. I really don't care how much you love your two week-old boots. Talk to me after you've worn them for six months, okay?

Major Production Quality Issues - Stay Away
I wish there was a zero star option. Save your money, time and emotions and don't buy Xtratuf boots. I bought these having fallen in love with the style and waterproof features (I live in the Pacific Northwest rain.) Wow, was I wrong.First pair I bought leaked in the toe on fourth wear, the first in the rain. I tried an exchange, opened the box and saw that the rubber strip sealing wasn't glued together and an open hole showing. I shared the photo of it (added here) with Xtratuf on their Instagram account and they said sorry and that I should return the replacements, too. What I missed from the reviews is that recently Xtratuf started manufacturing in China and have suffered a slew of quality issues (check out their Instagram account comments and recent reviews.) Many of the boaters that Xtratuf's fame grew from have abandoned the brand. It's a shame, but save yourself and stay away from these.

Disappointed
I LOVE these boots, BUT I wish they were better quality. I spent months searching for rain boots that fit well and looked cool and finally found these. Most rain boots have really stiff soles, but these are very flexible, almost like running shoes. I usually wear size 12 shoes, but I ordered size 11 (based upon past customer comments here on Amazon) and they still felt a bit loose, unless I was wearing two pairs of socks (it's cold and wet here in the winter!).BUT, I ordered them in mid November, 2021, and after only two months of daily wear, a crack formed on the outside on the top near my left big toe. The crack continued to spread, and is now about the diameter of a baseball. It's ugly and very disappointing. Oddly enough, the crack doesn't leak, even though the crack goes right through the outer rubber layer -- there is obviously some sort of waterproof lining inside. If the crack had happened a few weeks earlier I would have returned the boots for a replacement. For a pair of $120 shoes to start falling apart after a few months is totally unacceptable. Please improve the quality of your boots! They are sooo close to being perfect!

One Season - Not built to last and stay waterproof
One season on review - These boots have been great to wear for about 8 months until I noticed my sock continually getting wetOn investigation the glue that binds the sole to the upper had let go and therefore was no longer waterproofThey aren't a cheap boot so it is disappointing that they effectively lasted for one seasonI will try to re glue to part that has released but based on past experience with boots I'm doubtful it will seal and make the boot waterproofMy advice is that boots that are moulded as one piece are the only ones that provide a long lasting water tight boot for use in the fishing industryOriginal Review - Based on other customers review in regards to sizing I bought a pair of Size13 as I'm normally a size 12. They fitted but were snug. By then end of the day my feet were tired an the boots felt tightI really like the boot design so I ordered another pair this time I went for size 14My comment is if you like you boots snug go up one size. If you have a wide foot an like a bit of room go us 2 sizes. If you are a size 12.5 definitely go size 14They are a great boot to wear all day on a wet factory floor processing seafood
