Terrific Seiko SKX007 replacement band
I purchased this to replace the OEM jubilee band for my Seiko SKX007 dive watch that broke after four years of daily use. Although the jubilee band is very attractive, these stretch, and the pins connecting the links are known to break or fall out. The MiLTAT oyster replacement band is heavy, beautiful under light, well built, and has better clasps than the original Seiko band. Installation was a little tricky, however much easier with a second pair of hands and took less than 10 minutes. Once on the watch, it looks like a factory watch band that was meant to come with the watch and fits perfectly. Further, removing a link to get a better fit was super easy with a tiny screw driver. Highly recommended and definitely an upgrade for this venerable, classic Seiko dive watch.

Stylish and Solid
I purchased this MILTAT Oyster bracelet for my Seiko SKX173 to replace the stock rubber band that would eventually crack and break over time (I've gone through three of them). I was quite surprised how, once the bracelet was affixed to the watch, it was instantly transformed from a "knock around" every day sport watch to a much more stylish timepiece that could easily be worn out to dinner as a dress watch as well as a sport watch. This bracelet is significantly more sturdier with a better fit than the stock bracelets found on my other Seiko watches.Refer to YouTube when installing the lugs which can take some time and patience as the band is precision fitted. The end result though is fabulous; there are absolutely no gaps at the lugs and everything is tight and comfortable. There is also a little "heft" to this bracelet which I prefer as opposed to lesser quality or hollow materials found in less expensive bracelets.Needless to say, I am very impressed with this bracelet and am in the process of replacing the stock bracelets on my other Seikos that I mentioned earlier.

Poor quality control -- UPDATE --
Did not fit due to one of the end links being thicker than the other. The other end popped in on the first try. Poor quality control. Otherwise a beautifully machined bracelet, smooth, with no rough edges. Nevertheless, I'm ordering another one because the others on ebay, etc. look a bit rough. Hopefully 2nd one will fit...UPDATE:Received a 2nd and the end links were OK this time. However, it appears that my SKX007 had a slight variance on how the case was machined between the lugs that caused the pin on one end not to engage. If you look at the watch bottom, at the point where the lug meets the case there is a small notch. One of the lugs did not have the notch, causing the end link not to align. I took out my Dremel and carefully made a notch in the case and also ground off a bit on the end link to get the pin closer to the hole. After a few hours, the end link fit it, albeit tightly. I didn't want to harm the case, but its on the part covered by the end link, so not noticeable. The end result of the band on the watch is fantastic. As I said before, this band is a notch above the other oyster bands out there. It has a heft to it and is supremely comfortable to wear. If you buy, I would carefully check each end link and test them on either side to see which fits best. If your watch has the imperfection mine did, you can get it to fit with some careful grinding, but you'll need a steady hand and patience.

Almost perfect
I bought this to replace the original "jubilee-style" band on my Seiko skx007 diver. This band is much nicer-looking, and better quality. It has all solid links, brushed on the face of the links, and polished on the sides. It tapers just slightly from 22mm at the lugs to 20mm at the clasp. The band adjusts with screw-in pins, rather than push pins, so if you want to adjust it yourself, you'll need a $5 glasses repair kit that will come with a tiny screwdriver (1.4mm tip, I believe). Incidentally, there's no dive extension, so keep that in mind if you actually plan on wetsuit diving with the watch. The band does not pinch or pull my arm hair, which lots of other metal bands tend to do. The quality is very good, and it fits my Seiko watch perfectly.I give it 4 stars, because the brushed finish of the band is just very slightly off from the brushed areas of the Seiko watch. Maybe it's because my Seiko watch is over a year old, compared to the new bracelet. I don't think it's a big deal, since most parts of the watch are polished anyway, and the brushed areas on the watch aren't very large and are angled so they catch the light differently from the bracelet. You wouldn't notice this at all with casual inspection, and I think the only person that might notice the difference would probably be someone who owns the same watch. So if you're an extreme perfectionist, this might bother you. Otherwise, I highly recommend it -- my Seiko skx007 is now my favorite watch again...

Good band for the price, but....
Overall I think this is a good bracelet. I got it for a modified SKX173 (I had movement replaced and upgraded and had a sapphire crystal installed). I dont know if there are subtle body differences between the sks 007 and my watch (I thought there were not) or the end links (that attach to the watch) were just not machined properly but I couldnt get the pins to fully set until I filed off some of the metal on the edges. I was gonna knock a star for this but that wouldnt be fair since nowhere did I see that this band was for the SKX173 (Which might specifically exist but I couldnt find it). Once the file work was done which did nothing to the appearance of the bracelet, the pins sat nice and snug. They are beefy and of good quality. The screw pins that connect the links are a little thin (compared to my steinhart ocean 1 link pins, for example) but they are easy to adjust and seem like they will do the trick. I would overall consider this bracelet a significant upgrade to the rubber strap (That I never use because I use nato straps). At $60 and 10 minutes of file work to fit it, Im pleased.
