Motor Trend 7-Series Defender Pro Waterproof Van SUV Car Cover for All Weather-Snow Wind Rain & Sun-Heavy Duty L Fits Up to 210"

Well, after a long search for car covers - especially for a winter one, i decided to give a shot to this one offered by Motor Trend. Box and accessories came nicely and neatly packed in double pack, with a matching bag for storage! Moment of truth : unpacking and assembling and putting cover on my car - easy, simple as description stated. Size fits great, good soft but thick material (so far....time will show if lasting?), will take pictures and updated my review after all the snow is gone - there is a freezing rain now expected! Will see how my cover behaves after this week - so far it holds pretty well, no signs of tear or wear or damages! Need a few more days to ubpdate -; but so far so good :)! For me the material of cover - all weather - was the most important feature and the price ofcourse! Update : see picture. Well, hopefully the cover will survive another storm and snow!

It fit well on a 2003 Honda Odyssey minivan but the antenna reinforcement patch does work.Nice that the Amazon vehicle ID said it would fit and it did.We got the cover primarily to keep the tree sap off the car as it sits amongst tall pine trees.A nice advantage of coming with a steel cable is that is easy to throw the heavy cable under the van to reach the other side.We appreciate it came with a repair patch to cover the hole needed to let the antenna through....HOWEVER....after only a few weeks the adhesive completely failed on the patch. Not good for an item designed to be outdoors. See the picture attached.We did not feel the need to use the attached straps on the front and back and cut them off.It's only the wind we worry about and the steel cable keeps that cover on.It looks and feels waterproof. Other covers we had stated they "breath" and would let moisture in on the vehicle. We would prefer waterproof.The reflective stripes are a nice touch.How it holds up over time and weather is unknown and we will update this review at 6 months.

Only had this cover for three weeks, but it seems well made and fits my 2017 RAV4 like it is a more expensive custom fit. The elastic is good and the straps at front and rear help secure it in place. I wonder how the silver exterior coating is breathable, but after several rains the car is kept dry. The felt lining is quite thin, but it prevents the cover from scratching the paint. I know from many years of buying car covers that this fabric seems to be a big improvement over previous fabrics. The highly touted Sunbrella fabric is not very waterproof after a year of use and if left in the sun it begins to fade and rot, especially coming apart at the seams. If your car is under a carport or in a garage the Sunbrella fabric is good and will last many years, maybe 10 or more. The well know Kimberly Clark Evolution fabric is not very durable. If it is on a car that is in the sun it will begin to dissolve in 2 years and just makes a big yellow linty mess on your vehicles, producing clouds of yellow dust if you shake it, plus it holds dirt and can damage your paint. If you live in an area where fine sand and other course dust accumulates on everything I would definitely avoid the Evolution fabric.I will report back in 2 years how this cover has held up. The price was much more reasonable that similar (the same?) covers sold by many online stores. Made in China of course. Since most of the current CUV/SUV have a similar shape this Motor Trend brand should fit OK. Use the buying guide to make sure you select your vehicle, the length is the most important part.

Absolutely the best car cover I have ever purchased. In Hawaii we have rain, heat, wind...environmental tough climate. This is a top notch quality car cover. Perfect for my Honda Fit. I'm going to purchase one for my vehicle in SLT to protect my car from both sun and snow.My recommendation is... buy this with confidence.

Fits my 2009 Rav4 perfectly, fits over spare tire and mirrors, easy to attach with straps. One person job when done back to front as directed.

Bought this cover because the summer here is brutal and i needed to protect my car, did not know what to buy so i tried this and it fits perfectly for the new Pacifica minivan, i am sure it will fit many other minivans, the material seems pretty good, the stitching looks well done, neat, overall the whole cover looks good on my driveway, i hope it will last long.

I recently moved, so the cars live outside for now.. to save the black paint on my truck, i decided i want a quality cover with a nice lining. I like how the cover fits my Land Cruiser. It was a bit of work to get over the truck, but mostly because I am not a tall person. The one thing I hope to express, is it will take you a minute or two to sort out front from back. All 4 corners have reflective orange and white tape stitched in to the fabric. Nig hint tho...The print that says "MotorTrend" belongs to the front of your vehicle. I also folded in my mirrors, but there is no need if you decide not to. The cover seems to be made well. Let's see if it stands up to the sun and SMOG in Southern California.
