Love lamp Berger and their scents, I have found though that it’s much more economical to just make my own fuel. I use 91% alcohol and either frangrance oils or essential oils. You can get a bottle of alcohol for next to nothing and just use drops of oils to your liking. So about $3-$5 a bottle (I kept my old large bottles) I refilled with my own mix. Works great. I can adjust the strength and save a ton of money. Sorry lamp Berger your fuel”oil” is way over priced.

This is NOT the Lampe Berger name brand!! It’s some kind of knock off that is being made to look like the real thing. Photo on site shows lampe berger... what u receive is Maison Berger for Lampe

***Lampe Berger/ Maison Berger***I've been using this product for a while now and I will be the first to say - It works very well if you are looking for a scent that lingers and stays in the air.First, for the reviews that may not have the updated information - Maison Berger & Lampe Berger are the same company. They just recently changed the name from Lampe Berger Paris to Maison Berger Paris. They've expanded their line of products to offer more to consumers.I noticed that there seems to be an upgrade on the new containers.My review is true as I have paid for my product.1) The scent does stay in the air. I can tell in a matter of minutes. I own 6 of the catalytic burners and I use 1 in each area of my home. I get immediate compliments as soon as guests walk through the door.2) If you have a pet family member, it's a must have. Nothing beats this scent. You will not be dissappointed.3) This product is somewhat expensive, however, well worth every dime you spend. It is premium quality as you experience what you pay for.My favorite scent is "Winterwood".

I've tried many of the scents but none of them compare to Green Apple's calming, fresh and clean apple scent. I really can't tolerate the other scents as they are just too musty/patchouli like or sweet or too cloying even when I dilute them. This apple scent smells like true apple without any other ingredients and the green aspect of it just means that it's not a heavy sweet apple but more of a light fresh apple. Compare a sweet macintosh to a granny smith...this would be the granny smith. I will no longer waste my money trying the other scents. I've been tempted to try the Heavenly Spruce for the holidays but I think i'll just stick with the apple. Besides, the apple fragrance won't conflict with some other fragrances like an occasional vanilla or cinnamon candle and it surely wouldn't be offensive to guests. If you want a fresh fragrance that doesn't choke you with a lady's parlor perfume or a man's cologne, try this. I don't think you would be disappointed.UPDATE: I just received a new bottle from Mason Berger ( April 17 2018). I opened the bottle and took a sniff and there is barely any apple scent at all- mostly just alcohol. I'm really ticked. I don't know if someone diluted this bottle or if Lampe Berger has succumbed to sheer greed and is now ripping off unsuspecting customers but 35 dollars for a bottle of alcohol is TOO MUCH money. SO DISAPPOINTED

I live on the Gulf coast, the swampy part---- in an older mobile home that has seen better days when it comes to "smell".Add to that two dober-kids who I love dearly but LORD they can smell up a room a few days before it's time to head to the groomer!Then mix in a husband who is a smoker....WHEW!!Sometimes I think the only way to rid the place of the ick in the air odors is to MOVE away from it all!This oil is the only scent that REALLY seems to help clear out the moldy mildew/stinky dog/smokers tinged smell that comes with living in the edge if the swamp and it doesn't just "cover it up" it really does seem to purify the air. I have used a variety of oil scents in the lamps over the last couple of years and they all smell great but for some reason THIS one seems to be the one that really does clean the sir and help get the odors out of the air.We travel often and our home can be closed up for a couple of weeks at a time and walking in when it is really hot can be -gag- inducing. I just head for the lamps, light them and within 10 minutes or so the places smells better....in 20 minutes I can close my eyes and pretend I'm not living in a dump!!I also love the scent since it is a base note in many men's' colognes, I'm not a "frilly" kind of girl and tend to gravitate toward male colognes over perfumes cuz I don't want to smelly "flowery and frilly" and I don't want my house to smell that way either.The scent of this oil doesn't just mask the other ick smell, it really does sanitize the area!

I am relatively new to Lampe Berger but I have tried a few scents. My favorite is the Green Apple but I also like the Ocean Breeze and Eucalyptus. I didn't care for the Creme Brulee or the Vanilla or the Almond even though they would normally be the types of scents that I prefer- they were too much like cloying perfume and less fresh. They reminded me of my grandmother's boudoir where she kept all her cosmetics and perfumes like Halston with that ' powdery sandalwood patchouli incense odor. It's not that the scents were offensive but it just wasn't how I would want my home to smell. So, I use the green apple most often because it's a neutral fresh scent that won't gag you or seem too ' pretty'. It really does smell like a fresh green apple. I think it would also make a nice autumn scent even though it's just green apple and no cinnamon or clove. Ocean breeze is very fresh with a touch of spiciness that reminds me of Claire Burke's Seaside or Seashore scent. The Eucalyptus is fresh with an evergreen or herbal green scent and I would think would work well around winter holidays.I do dilute my scents 2 to 1 or 3 to 1

does not really smell eucalyptus. Though there is a description written about the smell notes, it is not true to it's description. I am not sure if this one is original because I also have a lamp refill from the site of maison berger uk and that one lasts long. This one did not. It only lasted for like minutes.

The eucalyptus essential oil is the best among all.Thanks for bringing it to Amazon.I hope the eucalyptus essential oil will always available here.

Ich mag viele Düfte von Lampe Berger.Dieser hier bekommt allerdings nur einen Stern.Warum? Weil die Duftbezeichnung einfach völlig irreführend ist.Es riecht überhaupt nicht nach Eukalyptus sondern eher wie ein kerniges Herrenparfum.Schlecht ist er natürlich nicht,nur wenn ich Eukalyptus kaufe, möchte ich auch Eukalyptus riechen

I have owned two Lampe Berger’s for years to combat odours from a neighbour that we are attached to.......always buy a detached home.....but I digress.My usual scent, ocean breeze, is great, but wanted to try something new, but do not like overpowering, sickly sweet or perfume type scents. Lovely, fresh scent.Lampe Berger is the only thing that works to combat strong cooking scents from next door. Fabulous product.

I use Lampe Berger to not only make my house smell nice, but clean the air as well. I do find the oils very pricey, but you only need to burn it for about a half an hour to get the air smelling nice. I love most of the Aromas, and I usually switch them around, depending on the season. Mystery Patchouli is a beautiful scent for fall. I usually use the Orange Cinnamon around Christmas. I would definitely recommend both scents.
