Do not let all the glitter you see in the formula scare you away. Once it is on the skin it lays beautifully (will start out slightly greenish on the skin but once it dries it's a beautiful tan) and does not over shine. Easy to put on and does not transfer.

Great streak free tanning lotion without order or scent

I love Isle of Paradise sunless tanners and I thought I'd give the instant bronze a try. I am light/fair skinned with cooler undertones and this definitely leans a little orange-y on me which I'm really not a fan of. It also has shimmer/glitter which can be pretty but I generally try to steer clear of glitter.What's important to note about this is that it's an instant bronzer- meaning, there is instant color but it also washes off in the shower. There doesn't seem to be any actual sunless tanner in this. I don't see why you couldn't add some (e.g. sunless tanning drops might blend really well with this, actually).I prefer the sunless tanner over this- I was so paranoid wearing it wondering if it was going to rub off on everything I came in contact with, especially on a hot night. I don't worry about that with sunless tanners so I'll probably be sticking with those.

I purchased this item to give myself some temporary color for a wedding. I am naturally pale/Ivory and this product was VERY distinctly Orange on me. It also had some glitter in it which I did not like. If you are already tan I could see this being a great product to add a glow to your skin as it is easy to apply with a mit and the scent is fine (low scent, almost unnoticed) but would not recommend for fair skin. I ended up using the St. Tropez One Night Only in Light/Mediumn instead, much more natural color.

Good bronzer for a quick last-minute tan!The color is not very dark, at least not for my medium skin.Does not have any overpowering scent.Easy to apply, runs smoothly through the skin.It is not waterproof. If you go to a swimming pool, it will fade.The shimmering is not that obvious. It gives a nice bright look.

I've tried Isle Of Paradise products before and some were a hit and some a miss. I have to say though this Disco Tan is amazing and I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. Its definitely become one of my favorite products from this brand. It's easy to apply, just put it on doing long strokes and using my tanning mitten. It absorbs into my skin pretty quickly and doesn't leave any greasy residue. It gave me a beautiful, bronzed tan without streaks and looked natural on my skin, not orange like some do. It is scented and smells good, but it does fade away after awhile. I recently used this when I went to the beach and it looked so great. It last all day unless you get wet, and it easily washes off in the shower. This tanner is great if you just want a quick tan for the day that can be washed off later. Awesome product and very satisfied. I would definitely recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I’ve used isle of paradise products before and enjoyed them so I figured I’d give it a shot. It’s a little intimidating at first because the color comes out orange and has glitter. But once rubbed in and dries it looks so good! It really doesn’t transfer and you don’t know you have it on! The initial scent is the only con I have - it seems to go away within an hour or so though. Also, I’ve tried this with gloves to make clean up easier but it didn’t workout well as the glitter started clumping and the product started piling. This could have just been from too much rubbing so just be careful if you use gloves. Lastly, if you have calluses on your hands from work/working out then this make stay attached to them for a day or so but isn’t super noticed. Overall, great product that really does what it says! Highly recommend, I hope this was helpful!

This is the second type of instant bronze lotion I’ve tried. I’m starting to think maybe it’s my skin that these just don’t show up on?? I’m medium skin toned boarding on fair. I applied 3 coats of this on my arm and I could not see a difference at all between the arm with the lotion and my bare arm. I wish these worked for me! I don’t tan and I slather on sunscreen so I’d love to be able to add a hint of color when I’m going out. I just have not found one so far that shows up on me. This has great reviews so it could just be me!
