Atlantis Rail System C09810204 RailEasy Tensioners For Railing

Installed these on 2"x2"x 1/8" wall steel tubing (so didn't use the included wood screws) with 5/32" stainless cable on an indoor handrail. They work perfectly. Be careful to install correctly the first time because once they are tightened down onto the cable it is very difficult to remove them. I'm planning on using these again for another project.

RailEasy is a great product. Very high quality and easy to install. Must use RailEasy cable due to size (5/32). I installed on a new build house. The cost of this product vs wood spindles was about the same. But now very little upkeep. My project was over 1,000' of cable and almost 80 sets of tensioners and ends. Looks great. I'd also reccommend the sleeves.

Looks great installed. Be careful the screws included are very soft and will strip if you're not careful. I used on Tigerwood and had to predrill each hole as I snapped a couple screws in half.

Very cool looking hardware. Modernistic stuff. I used it for its intended purpose (easy instructional videos on the manufacturers website) but I can totally see this in infinite applications like car stereo amp stand installation, retail accent pieces, cabinet rail....how about using a clear silicone cable instead of the stainless and lighting it at one end? Huh? Genius, I know ;p

These are used with the stainless steel wire that you can use as a horizontal rail. These are high quality. They have lasted so far in our salt air environment without signs of rust. I would buy them again.

Other reviews implied this would work with 1/8" cable but the cable pulls out when under tension. The product is very well make and I will use again with their 5/32" cable.

Expensive but looks great and works great!
