Humane Mouse Trap, Sopito 2 Pack Rat Trap, No-Kill Rodent Control Catcher, Reusable for Mole, Vole, and Mice, Indoor and Outdoor Use

Set these 2 traps on my decking at the rear of my garden as I've been seeing 2-3 small rats running around there, and coming across the garden for food dropped from the garden bird feeders, driving our dogs crazy.I put some nuts and sunflower seeds in both, placed them along the side of the decking and waited. After 12 hours went to inspect them to find 1 had been triggered, but on closer inspection found that whatever was in there had been frantically trying to escape.In the process it had soiled the inside of the trap, and also caused itself some harm as there was a lot of blood inside, but no rat!! The back (food) end of the trap had somehow been opened, so either the rat got out eventually, or was removed by another animal with some force. So, my first experience is that this works, but doesn't feel so humane right now. I will persevere for now, but will stop using if the same experience again.

I often find that the food has gone but the trap has failed to close as the mouse is taking it. Not as good as I hoped but others may find it works better for them. Maybe I didn't get mine from a good batch.

I used peanut butter as bait, when the mouse went inside it was secure and I took it over 2 miles (advice online) away to a nature reserve and released it. The trap was easy to clean after (the back end is removable. So you can get to all areas to clean).

Nice product and easy to set up and clean but unfortunately didn’t work for me, I purchased two and set them both up in different places in my Utility room where I had this intruder, I heard it all the time but never saw it and thought it was possibly a rat, I was completely paranoid as it was chewing all sorts and I spent all the time cleaning things. At the weekend I ordered the large metal one, set it up on Sunday evening and this morning (Tuesday) there he was - a rat! I covered the trap over with a towel so as to calm him down and transported him in the car to the woods, he must have been doing a hundred miles an hour when I released him😂. These will be absolutely fine for a tiny mouse but nothing bigger.

Very impressed with these traps. Put some peanut butter in and caught 2 mice the first night. Mouse seemed quite calm and was easy to carry the trap and release the mouse safely. It seems like we only had 2 mice this time but we'll worth the money for a humane trap.

Easy to use and managed to catch a mouse in my loft on the very first night.Used dried berries from Special K in one trap and peanut butter in the other. The dried berries won the day!A blueberry cut in half caught 3 more over the next 3 nights. Seriously, blueberries seem to be like crack to these mice!

I bought this product as I thought I could hear something in my loft. I went for this option as it is humane just pop a piece of food inside to entice the rodent.
