I Did Not Like This Book At All
This was the first book I have read from this author and very likely, the last. Beware, this review may contain spoilers although this book was so obvious, it's kinda hard to spoil anything. This story was completely muddled straight from the beginning. The hero was the new owner of an advertising agency and the heroine was a star employee. Except, she had a clause in her contract the she would not work on Christmas campaigns.First off, this was completely far fetched that any employer just allows a top employee not to work on the biggest campaigns for any business. I sure wish I could tell my boss what work I was NOT going to do. Also, she was only 24 years old. How did she get away with coming to a job fresh from school and making such demands?? Now, I know this is a Harlequin and I am quite used to suspending my disbelief for these books but this was a bit much. Also, the heroine was just too drama laden and tragic acting for my taste. She flew off the handle way too fast and never gave the hero a chance to explain himself. She didn't participate in Christmas for reasons I found lame. I get why she had issues with it but everyone has some Hard issues, but they put their big girl panties on and deal with. She didn't. And I never really felt any attraction from her toward him. Yeah, she noticed his hot butt but she never found out anything of substance about him. And as a businessman, he seemed way too easy for her to play him. Also, his family members were thrown in and out of the book with no real purpose. The relationship between the parties was way too quick. The first nine chapters encompassed one 24 hour period in which they met and all but jumped into bed together and had numerous arguments and misunderstandings. Neither one acting like a professional- unless whining, misspeaks and nonsense are typical in an advertising business. Also, the best friend was a ridiculous turncoat. She gave up the heroines secrets way too early in the story and for no real reason. My BFF doesn't need to read this review to know if she ever acted like this- even if she thought it was in my best interest- she would be off the friend list.I was ready to drop this book from my kindle after the first 9 chapters. I stayed with it because I hate wasting my own money and I did NOT get a free copy of this book for my honest opinion. 2 stars to the author for having the guts to write a book and putting herself out there. Nothing else impressed me and I truly wonder what all the 4 and 5 star reviewers read that I didn't but I guess, to each their own opinion.

He had gotten the job she had been recommended for...it wasn't fair at all.
A steamy and heart warming Holiday tale that will warm anyone on a cold night. When Chaz Monroe goes undercover in the new business he purchased, he is not prepared for the sight he follows...the most perfect, sexiest female he has ever seen from behind. But she is an employee and therefore off limits. When Kim McKinley shows up for her appointment with him to discuss her contract, Chaz realizes that Kim and that most perfect woman are one and the same. The attraction is mutual...fireworks attraction. All Kim knows about him is that he got the job that she was supposed to get - Vice President. She had been passed over and resented it. Kim works hard. The only Holiday she won't work is Christmas. She has her reasons. She won't discuss them. Her best friend, Brenda, knows and understands. I practically flew through this book. The storyline moved smoothly. The hot attraction between Kim and Chaz was fiery and spontaneous. Chaz's determination to find out why Kim wouldn't work the Christmas Holiday bordered on being a bully, but his heart was in the right place. It was fun to see these two come together. A Holiday story with plenty of fire and steam. For all romance lovers. Explicit sexual scenes. Spicy.

I kept expecting more?
It was OK. Nothing I'd recommend or save to read again. It was fine for a quick pre-holiday read, but it could have been so much more..

Smoldering Mistletoe would be a better name:)
If you love Ms. Thomas-Sundstrom's paranormal, but are jonsing for more, here's a great contemporary read to add to your shelf. A story that doesn't disappoint in the constant threading of attraction and overflowing personalities of the characters. This is a great read if you're not quite ready to let those holidays go or if it's July and you need to envision a little heat in the snow while you're on the beach.

Christmas Delight
Christmas books are a sinful delight. This one is really nice, very sexy, and at the same time lighthearted, with a refreshing take on Harlequin novels by Miss Thomas-Sundstrom. The couple starring here are a great match, and Kim's and Chaz's first meeting is conflictingly flammable. If you'd like a smile with romance, try this one, for sure.I'm hoping that someone can "maneuver" this book into a Hallmark Christmas movie.

too much back and forth
Sometimes I felt that I missed a paragraph but not really, the female character was very back and froth. I have read better stories.
