Women’s Lightweight Waterproof Nylon Crossboby Shoulder Bag Casual Messenger Bag with Zipper Pockets

Okay, who would know that finding the perfect travel purse would be so hard!!! I have tried several different ones over the last year and just never can find one (at least not one in the price point I'm willing to spend).First - this is a winner because it's nylon so it packs down, and is light. When traveling the ULCC airlines you only get one personal item free so you can't take a backpack and a purse...I needed something for when I reached my destination to use that didn't take up too much room in my backpack or underseater. Outer organization is good - I can easily separate out phone, glasses, sunshades, lipbalm and lotion, wallet, etc. - and size is right for me. It will fit my ipad air 2 with a keyboard case. The strap isn't fashionable, and makes packing bulkier, but I think it will actually be nicer when walking around and playing tourist in terms of comfort, and might make a purse snatcher think twice about slashing it. The pockets, except for the inner one are as deep as they appear (I have a purse in my closet that is going to thrift because the pockets all ended up too shallow to be useful). And, I think it looks a little nicer in person than in the pictures.There is a slight smell but I expect it will fade with use...it's not offensive. Some might even think of it as that new purse smell.Here's what I didn't like and hence the star off - it's freaking loud - lol.The material on the inside is, for lack of a better word-crunchy and the zippers are not just big, but make a loud noise as well. You aren't going to be sneaking a mint or taking a peek at your cell phone in that lecture hall without everyone knowing you are doing it! And leaving, say the middle one unzipped to slide things in and out feels awkward because those teeth could scrape up an unprotected cell phone face. And, again, just sliding anything out and you are going to hear it loud and clear. I dislike it so much I would really give it 2-3 stars, but the fact is it's not a fault of the product, just the disadvantage of the material-guess this makes it water resistant-and it's such a subjective thing...I've decided to keep it but I have a feeling ultimately it's going to end up going to thrift because of this issue. I don't know, maybe in time and use it will soften a little?The logo looks to be stitched on - it's actually a rubber disc so my thinking that I'd cover it up with some sort of pin isn't going to work - might try to remove. Monkey is cute enough but I hate logos on my stuff. Of course I knew it was there so not going to take a star off for that. Finally I "think" I'll be able to use a thin s-carabiner on the top (but not the main) to middle pocket to offer some pickpocket protection - there's a little space in the pull tabs to hook one through, but again - is it necessary as you are going to hear these things being unzipped a mile away? Okay, I exaggerate, but you know what I mean. All in all, I guess it could be a very good thing if that is what you are looking for.Also, there is no way a water bottle would fit in the side pockets - that said for me it is a bonus, because I feel whatever I do put in those pockets is going to stay there - ie a pack of tissues or something - because the elastic is so tight. You wouldn't want to put something in there you have to access often though, like lip balm.Hope this helps another woman (or man) frustrated with finding the perfect purse!!!

This purse is lightweight and though I haven't tested it, seems like it would be very water resistant. The pockets are great and give you several options for storing/carrying items. The strap is easily adjustable and works great to use as a messenger bag. I wish it was a little bigger but I like to carry a lot of things so it's probably perfect for most people.

I was looking for a small bag to take into the gym that hold a lock, headphones, tanning lotion, and other small items that I need. This is the perfect bag for the job! It holds everything I need it to and in a very organized manner (unlike a drawstring bag I had been using). I might even try this a weekend or vacation purse since it doesn't weigh much and seems very sturdy. It was a great find.

I LOVE this purse! Not heavy, not TOO big, and has a pocket where everything I need can be stored comfortably! (My only "problem", is that now that I'm retired, I don't need to remember things I used to, so I just need to remember where I stored a certain in which pocket!) Ha! Ha! It's a great purse, and very light-weight, too!

First off, this purse is perfect size! I bought to use during spring break. The shoulder strap becomes long enough to be a crossbody even on a very plus size body like mine. The color is very pretty and vivid pink. As for the waterproof, I would say this is water resistant rather then waterproof. We got very wet on a ride and when we got off, everything in my purse was wet and there was an itty bitty puddle of water in the corner, not good seeing as how I had 2 phones and an extra battery pack inside. I will say it kept it dryer then say a run of the mill purse, but no way is it waterproof, merely water resistant, and this is why I went with 4 stars. Everything else is great. Plenty of space and pockets with secure zippers, but water RESISTANT NOT waterproof!

I ordered this bag for my daughter for Christmas. The purse seems like it is made well. It is durable, thick material with lots of great pockets. The zipper closures seem pretty heavy duty. I think she will love it!

I’m so pleased with this purse. It definitely exceeded my expectations! And for the price I feel like I hit lottery of purses. I wish it came in colors I would order another one.

This is a very nice bag. Fit nice, as described and arrived fast. I am satisfied with how well it fits comfortably cross body. I was looking for a messenger/travel purse and this fit the need very well.
