Globe Large Teapot with Strainer, 8 Cup (1.8 Litre), Cobalt Blue

Gifted this to my mom and she absolutely love this tea pot! I had bought the 8cup cobalt blue for her. I had read the reviews and laughed when people were mad because it did not come with a strainer. Clearly states if people read the product info/ details that the strainer is built in at the spout. So if you remove the lid and look inside the tea pot its has holes at the spout where it allows some smaller leaves enter in your tea cup . By the way its well made and will be ordering another one.

These are really nice teapots. Although described as "dishwasher safe" I would not recommend putting them in a dishwasher as they are pottery teapots, and their spout and handle are vulnerable to breaking. They don't get very dirty if you use them for tea and don't let your tea sit in the pot for hours or overnight. You can easily clean them with hot soapy water, then let the hot soapy water run through the built-in strainer. If you use loose tea, you can clean the strainer by running hot soapy water backwards through the spout into the teapot.

Nice teapot but don't expect it to be checked out before they ship it to you.There is a sharp blob or flaw on the side of this one. Unfortunately, If I want to try for another, I am in the US and have to pay shipping back to the UK and it takes quite a while to arrive.

I disliked the teapot as it did not have the strainer with it as described
