I just got this order yesterday and while I thought it was sweet that it was hand packaged (they have a lot of orders) the product just wasn't very yummy. I felt like I spent more time digging it out of my teeth than eating it. It really really sticks in your teeth so you couldn't eat this in public (I bought to eat while in class). The taste just wasn't great, but I'm going to try a few more bars and update my review. Hopefully it wasn't a waste as I'm a broke student who just needed a snack for while at school. They're about $5 a bar which is also a little high for me.

Note* second delivery was not properly packed with coolant! The usps delivered to my mail kiosk in 75-80 degree weather. I wasn’t notified of the delivery till around 11:20pm! They appear to be room temperature and I put them in the fridge. This is not anything like the first order. It should be delivered to my door like Amazon does, they are so expensive for sitting in a metal mailbox for hours!No notifications from Alexa or my phone all day...just for the three other items sent to my family! Not happy about this, if I try one and it’s spoiled I won’t order again! So disappointed in shipper and Amazon notification.Can’t believe how delicious these bars are compared to others! I bought the assorted 12 pkg and started with Dark & Salty. It was so good and very satisfying on my low carb diet. The package came priority mail with an ice pack inside, all the bars were cool and in perfect condition. Included was a handwritten Thank You from Michelle. Very classy 😁For years I have had to eat protein bars that I could swallow because I have Barrettes esophagus. This one is definitely my favorite! It literally melts in your mouth, reminds me of a rich chocolate brownie. MmmmA little pricey but it includes the shipping and the ingredients are top of the line.Can’t wait to try another one, so many delicious flavors it will be hard to choose. I will be a repeat customer..

Remember when you were a kid in the summer and you got a snickers or a twix or something from 711, and it melted on the inside of the wrapper? Remember licking the wrapper to get every bit of that warm yummy gooiness? That's what these remind me of, so much so, that I actually did lick the wrapper clean. I must admit that I am impressed. I have tried 100 'healthy' 'clean' 'high protein' 'delicious' bars, but none of them really lived up to their labels for one reason or another. I have food intolerances, so I have to be really careful, and until now I had not found anything that checked all of the boxes - quick, clean, high protein, and genuinely yummy. I, of course, favor the chocolate ones...stick it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds...oh lawdy! Nom nom nom!

I don't write many reviews, but I feel these MariGold Protein Bars deserve one. First off, the shipping was super fast with excellent packaging (and a personal thank you was a very nice touch!!). The bars themselves are fantastic. So far my favorite is the Salted Carmel (haven't tried them all yet though). The bars are a bit chewy but not too bad (wouldn't cause me to not buy them again). I found putting a bar in the microwave for about 12 seconds pretty much turns the bar into a dessert (yes, they're that good). Whats nice though is that they are not overly sweet (It's not like eating a candy bar). Also, some people say that the bars are too expensive for their size. They are a bit smaller than expected, but one bar did satisfy my hunger for quite a while (3-4 hours). So, no real complaints from me there. The protein/carbs/fats ratio AND the taste are well worth the expense to me. I will be ordering again.And one more thing. MANY people are complaining about the wrapper on the bar is too hard to open. Really people?? Really?? It is VERY easy to unwrap. Flip the bar over, peal back the label (the label with the nutritional info on it - and no, you don't need to remove the whole label). But, once you get a bit of the label removed you can see how the wrapper is folded underneath that back label. Pull up and peal back on the folded part of the wrapped and voila! You have an unwrapped bar. Not difficult AT ALL...And yes, it took me way longer to type out those instruction than it took me to unwrap a bar.

This is hands down the cleanest testing protein bar I’ve found, and I’ve tried a myriad of them. Excellent chewy texture is a bonus-it’s like eating caramel. I keep these in the freezer and bring out a few days supply. My only disappointment was that I ordered a sampler pack and all the bars were either chunkychoco pecan or coconut rage. I didn’t return the order because I live in the country, it’s too much of a diversion from real life, and they are perishable, but it does make me cautious about reordering in spite of the quality. For now, I remove one star as my comment to the seller.

To find a bar that contains nonGMO, grass fed whey protein source, pink salt, no artificial sweeteners, no inulin junk fiber binders, just pure love and goodness, well, I thought I was hallucinating when I saw these on Amazon. I have since ordered them. I LOVE THEM, My roommate even loves them, and he is one picky guy. The best tasting, yummy, palate singing treat you could possibly imagine. I threw a case of Quest bars out in the garbage after I tasted my first one. My only beef is that I wish they were packaged differently, the wrapping is sticky and not easy to open, like maybe have a little open tab, perforated plastic opening piece or something. I don't care about the price, I think its fair for the ingredient quality and if people want to buy cheap junk, they will feel like cheap junk. LOVE LOVE LOVE my Marigold Bars!!
