Great for temporary applications or if you just don't want the telephone people festooning your house with wire stapled to every surface. Long phone cords can sometimes be the right choice when you need a phone in a location not easily serviced by a wall jack. I am working from home via computer. To work from home I also need easy desktop access to a telephone. Problem is my telephone jack is in the kitchen my internet connection is in my living room. I don't use the phone at my desk when not remote office working using my computer.This long cord works for the limited role for which it is intended. This phone cord is also great for applications where you want to roam around the house but without the pain and expense of buying an expensive mobile phone with its custom base. This long telephone line is an awesome temporary solution and it works fine for me. No audio quality drop at all.

I bought this specifically to use as a DSL line because I live in an old house and the phone jack is pretty far from where the tv and modem are. The cord I got from my internet provider was shorter and also was not very good. It was constantly buffering and not connecting. I got this and plugged it up. No change in speed. It has not gone in and out and seems to be working perfectly. It was tangled but I unraveled it and neatly rolled up the excess and clipped it with twist ties and stuck it on the shelf. It is a great value and works very well.

It's a phone extension cord, 50 feet was a little long but less expensive than the 35' cord available at the time I needed a new phone cord to wrap around my bedroom. There's a big somewhat tangled ball of excess cord behind a speaker but hey, I saved a couple bucks buying the longer cord and the sound quality of VOIP calls is just fine. Good product, good value.

I went to use my FAX machine this week and it didn't work. I thought it was the phone line and called in my provider and found out the machine is fine the phone line is fine but the cord did not work. I went out and purchased another one and it worksI didn't think you would want it back as it doesn't work. Was going to call and ask for a credit but have had bad family issues until today was busy.I realize this wasn't your fault and you had no way of knowing and so I gave you a 3 star rating as I am have a business and some things are beyond our control and I didn't want to give one star as it relates to you having control and service.I know it is only $3.97 --but too much trouble to send it back....no longer have packaging but do still have cord.please adviseSusan

I had a problem. My lone working phone jack was about 30 feet from the spot where I wanted to put the base of my land line. So I got this 50 line, ran it from the jack and behind bookcases to the phone base, and solved the problem. My only regret is the color. I looked for but couldn't find the same cord in black, but that is a minor complaint. It got the job done and I now have my phone base and two satellites precisely where I wanted them.

My husband uses a TTY phone. We used this cord attached to our NetGear Router we purchased on Amazon. The cord was run under the house from the router in another room to Jim’s TTY phone in his office. Given the length of the cord and distance we were worried about the phone working. This was an excellent choice and works perfectly. To us it is wonderful to find a product that works for anyone hearing impaired.
