The Shaman's Heart With Hemi-Sync®

I am a shamanic practitioner so I am interested in music or drumming CDs with that theme. I own other CDs of this nature and can't vouch for the effectiveness of hemi-sync, binaural waves, etc. because anyone who knows a bit about shamanic journeying and practices can tell you clear intention and rhythmic sound around a certain beat rate will take you into altered consciousness so I doubt there is greater value using hemi-sync and other mind entrainment type waves. The rhythms and music alone would do that and with some practice it isn't hard to sustain the journey or meditative state especially when it is captivating to one's mind and spirit. Having said that, I will say I enjoyed this CD and meditated with it, but I have not tried to journey with it. I wish there were some Amazon samples so interested parties could sample the music before purchasing. The music can be described as new age with a shamanic slant. Another reviewer referred to this CD as Native American, but I wouldn't classify it as Native American. Yes, it has a certain Native American slant, but I would say it is more New Age. It reminds me of David & Steve Gordon's  Meditation Drum  so if you like that CD you will probably like this one.

I bought this CD because I like "HemySync" music. As a general rule native American music with alot of flutes drive me crazy after a bit of listening. This CD has a great sound track with the beat carried by rattles, rain sticks, a few drum beats, some animal sounds, and a soft synthesized background with no flutes. The soundtrack is very harmonious and interesting. The rattle takes the place of a hand drums in "double drumming" so you will hear it throughout the CD, but it is enhanced by all the other sounds. Very, very nice if you like native American music. I have found this CD very helpful for meditation if played at low volume.

If your a person that loves the ancient tribal drums and sounds then you will love this, plus it has the Hemi_Sync technology.

I like it. But like more drumming myself. I recommend gateway experience. Gave me my first induced obe. Had them as a child.

Interesting music, really great background for meditation. The hemisynch truly does have some sort of effect...I can feel the music in my brain, if that makes any sense. I also seem to slip into meditation more quickly. Good stuff.

The Shaman's Heart CD is an exceptional audio disc. The combination of Monroe Hemi-sync special effects and the Native American style drums and other sounds make for a remarkable effect on your mind. I highly recomend it.

Hemi-sync is an amazing process. Does EXACTLY what it says it is meant to do. I cannot say enough about this type of meditation. If you commit, then you get results-like anything in life.

Just starting in using hemisync. It does deepen meditation. Don't care for the music. However it is recommended fo brain stimulation.

As a practicing Hypnotherapist, any title with Hemi Sync is going to be perfect to perform Hypnosis with, this album is just incredible, a must buy.Also perfect for giving guided meditations too and great to relax to on your own.

i strongly recommend the shaman's heart, but also the most of the hemisync cd's for meditation, healing and contact with your inner self

Great product provided you like drum sounds. Otherwise don't buy.
