Great looking shoes with fantastic tread which is key for a rowdy little boy. I had to exchange though because my kids feet are just so wide and he grew a size this month!UPDATE: we've had them about 6 weeks and he's worn them nearly every day. They are holding up great, very easy to clean off and he can put his own shoes on which everybody loves! Definitely coming back for a 2nd pair next year!EDIT: my guy wore these until he couldn't cram his feet in anymore and they still have plenty of life left in them! They survived a summer of mud puddles, rock kicking, and general rough & tumble, 12/10 would recommend to everyone!

I ordered these shoes for summer adventures, and for our trip to the beach. They are so cute, and fit perfectly.My daughter wears a size 6-7, and I bought these in a size 7.

They are mostly nice. I dont like the fact that you can not tighten the string down just the velcro. That makes for a wide shoe his feet are narrow and long. So that was disappointing. They are comfy other than that. He mostly likes them. I hope they last till the end of summer like the other ones I buy like this. He is growing so big I just try to make it until end of season. Sometimes I am gluing the sole back on. Not saying it's the shoes fault between getting them wet and hard on his feet stuff just want them to make it till the end of season. Just want the be able to tighten the more on his foot besides the ankle area.

I was a little hesitant to purchase these because I've never heard of this brand. Also seeing this shoe sold under different names made me doubly skeptical that these could even be a decent shoe. However, so far so good!My son's feet are 1.5 on one foot and 2 on another foot, so he needs a 2.5, but a 2.5 rarely exists in shoes, so I have to get a 3. This makes things difficult because 3's are usually too big. An added factor is that he has a wide feet and a high instep. However, these shoes have been perfect. Lightweight and the uppers are lined with a neoprene like fabric so they are comfortable and flexible. I know because I received no complaints! My son happily puts his shoes on. The toe box is closed enough so that pinky toes stay inside the shoe, but the shoe is still breathable. The Velcro closure secures his foot nicely (the shoes are technically too big because of his current foot size).These got wet one day at camp and it took about two days to air dry. I probably could have put them on an air vent or used a fan to dry them faster, but since I bought a different, similar pair (another brand) at the same time I bought these I was in no rush. I would recommend breaking these in by wearing them only a few hours at a time at first. They will rub you child's foot. While I'm used to wearing shoes with no socks, my son is not, and he quickly developed blisters. We take a break with his tennis shoes now and but it seems these are quickly becoming a favorite part of shoes. I am honestly considering buying additional sizes for next summer

The shoes looked great - sturdy and well made - but they were way too big. I based my purchase on the size chart and our little guy's current shoe size but the Hobibears are way to big. I'll buy again, a smaller size, if that size is available.

I returned them because they were super big. the colors and easy on and off was great for the kids though. wish it would have fit

Love these sandles. Got these for my 4 yr old son. He can now play in the dirt , water or anything outside. They are alittle large for him but fit fine. At least he will be able to wear them for a long while. My son is also into super hero's so he calls them his Captain America sandals.

I got 2 sets of these because my 2 year old twins are hitting the "I do it" phase. I wanted some sandals that they could put on alone. So I got these a bit on the bigger side. The material is not as stiff as I need for the boys to put them on without my help. So they get upset and cry in frustration before they finally let me help. Also since the material is not very supportive they trip over their own feet a lot more then they do in other shoes. My boys love to climb but so far not one skinned knee, until these shoes. They look nice but I am going to have to wait a while before the boys can use them. If you get them, get them close to the right size as you can, you can't save a few buck and let them grow in to them there is just no support on the sides and any kid will twist an ankle.
