This is a great pre-made niche. Just wish it came with a shelf for this size.

Perfect!
Used this in a bathroom remodel. Took out the old tub surround and needed a solid shelf for a tile wall. This was really durable and was the perfect price point compared to the local, chain stores... $10 cheaper for the exact item.

Exactly what my contractor requested. This type of niche has about a 1/2" lip that butts up to the tile. It allows for a flat install.

Very easy to work with and install
Very easy to work with and install. Only downside is the flange is a little thicker than cement board so you have to feather out around it. I will use this again.

Overpriced and not what it appears to be
This is not what it appears to be. Just a painted styrofoam insert for $200?!? You still need to tile over this.
