Extremely salty/poor instructions
As others have stated this is very salty. If you like extremely salty jerky then you will like this. I found it to be excessively salty, i will not buy it again. I hope the manufacturer takes note of the reviews and creates this same flavor but with 1/2 the salt. Also note a bag is good for 50 pounds, net wt of package is 20.25 oz. Therefore .405 oz wt/ pound, so you will need a scale to weigh it..............why cant the manufacturer provide details like tablespoons/pound, i dont think they understand a user does not want to have to pull out a scale to make jerky? Also need to state amount of water per pound or 5 pounds.Since i emailed them they have updated their website, 2 tbsp = ounce which still isn't very helpful to me. Roughly use 4 ounce per pound or ultimately:8 Tbsp for each pound of meat. ( a level tablespoon )

Great Jerky Seasoning. Start with this one and you can make it your own with added spices!
This was great jerky seasoning. We started with this flavor as a base and added spices to suit our taste. We did call the 800 number for service department and they were very informative and answered all of our questions happily. They advised us the best way to divide the ingredients up based on our preference(s) (we prefer to weigh ingredients vs measuring cups/spoons. We used them to season ground beef 5 pounds at a time and wished to measure by weight. They accommodated us with the information based on weight measurements. They also said they could tell us the amount of seasoning to use with measuring cups/teaspoons etc.... if we so wished. They advised us on how much water to use. Great bunch at AC Legg! Jerky came out great, and much easier to make than the previous brand we were using.Note: We bought London Broil for $3.50/lb. which was way cheaper than the lean ground beef ($4.99lb.) needed for jerky. We ground it in the KitchenAid meat grinder attachment. (Later the butcher at WinnDixie assured us that he would have gladly ground the meat for us for free! Lesson Learned) We used the dough hook attachment to mix the jerky 5 lbs. at a time. We then used the "jerky gun" to dispense the meat onto the dehydrator trays, "cooked" at 160 in the dehydrator for 6 hours and made jerky sticks very similar to "SlimJims" We process our jerky in a Nesco SnackMaster Express Model FD-61WHC (On Amazon). We like the variable temperature and the fact that you don't have to turn/rotate/shuffle the trays during dehydrating, we bought the maximum number of additional trays (12).

Tastes nothing like teriyaki
Not teriyaki! So first of all the directions are terrible and very hard to understand which I can look past, however using the seasoning to make my jerkey it came out tasting nothing like teriyaki, it just tastes like a seasoned salty meat with a hint of spice. I could do a better job with soy sauce and garlic. Overall I'm not happy with this and would not recommend it.

You'll have wasted your money on this product
This is a very bland and cheap mixture. It's very basic and you're paying for $18 for under $1 worth of ingredients. A real teriyaki blend should consist mainly of sugar and soy sauce powder, and other traditional oriental spices. If you do end up purchasing this, taste it on your finger before using. You'll have wasted your money on this product, but you can at least save the meat by tasting this product beforehand.

Yum
We've been making deer jerky for 25 years and this outshines all other seasonings we have tried. The only drawback is the clumping. If you sift it, it clumps back together. So you think you may get clumps of seasoning in your meat that don't dissolve, but so far that hasn't happened.I doubt we even look for any other jersey seasoning after using Legg's, Try it!

Enjoyed the first so much that I bought again
This is my second order for this Jerky mix. Enjoyed the first so much that I bought again. I will say that it could use a little stronger flavor. I just added a little Worcesterchire sauce to complement.
