California Organic Walnuts, 7.5 Pounds - No Shell, Non-GMO, Kosher, Raw, Vegan, Sirtfood, Bulk

I threw out every expensive bag of nuts I purchased from this company, after tasting the first bites of the first bag. It’s a Brooklyn nut company, so let that sink in. Do you think they grow nuts in Brooklyn? Disgusting freezer burned taste in one bag and no return policy for the unopened ones. I believed the positive reviews, but personally found the nuts to be inedible. I do tend to taste/smell what others cannot, so I will let you know that I don’t believe this brand sells fresh, high quality nuts. I didn’t even know you could freeze nuts... well, guess you can’t b/c they taste disgusting. Anyway, my mistake—I should never have ordered more than one bag from a company I did not yet know or trust. I’m hoping you won’t do the same.

The first time I ordered, a few months ago, the raw walnuts were excellent, and I said so, giving the product 5 stars. ~ The second order of raw walnuts ~ my favorite ~ was not the same. A 'bit' rancid. ( a 'bit' is an understatement). Very disappointed. Not fit for making special sauces (pesto sauce, for example) and recipes. Hence the 3 stars.

These walnuts are delicious and I would definitely order them again. We used them for several recipes over the holidays and were quite pleased.

We have ordered these walnuts many times in the last few years and always have been very happy with them. They are usually fresh tasting and crisp. The bag we just ordered came on the verge of rancid tasting and are a little rubbery. They look fine and are the usual nice halves and very little small pieces. They just don't live up to the past excellence. Maybe it wasn't a great crop.

I've ordered a lot of food products on Amazon and I have come to trust "Food for Life" products. They offer quality products for a good price.

Excellent food and nutrient value. Was not sure to keep this coming monthly subscribed. Now I can see the cost coming monthly for my cooking after tasting by beans with them in them.

These are my favorite walnuts. This brand. I eat walnuts daily. This exact product needs to be sold in a bigger bag though for it to make economic sense for me to buy regularly.

These nuts were the best I’ve tasted. I’m just sorry they are not available at the moment but I will definitely buy again when they are back in stock. Beautiful walnuts.
