I added dog-safe Benadryl and styptic powder to this but otherwise think it’s a pretty comprehensive kit for a dog in good general health. It puts my mind at ease to have it in the house or in my backpack on hikes. Hopefully I won’t need to use it but reassuring to have.

This kit has a good amount of all the basics for pet first aid. It is important to also remember that a complete kit includes food, water, and vaccination records

This is a great first aid kit for small animals. It comes with all the basics for treating minor wounds, breaks, etc.But no first aid kit ever sold has been perfect, and i had to add things:- Tourniquet- Feliway calming pads- Charcoal universal antidote- Hydrogen peroxide 3% to induce vomiting- Chito-Sam 100 4x4 pad for serious wounds- Celox granules to stop bleeding- Bitter bandage (so they dont bite it)- Burn gel & dressing- Better tape- Safety pins for the triangle bandage (duh!)- Hot Hands toe warmers. 2x.- A headlamp.The water bowl is pretty useless as are the bandaids. Taking these out leaves space for other things. You might want to replace the tweezers and tick remover with metal ones. It comes with two wide popsicle sticks for splinting material, but ideally you should have something a little more flexible to shape to the animal's legs but still sturdy, similar to a SAM splint.Re-reroll your cling gauze without the center spool and you'll have more room.Overall, youre not going to find a better kit out of the box based on my searches.

The number of items they fit in the small case is impressive. The case itself is decent and the items, for the most part, are legitimate and high quality. Very disappointed that the tweezers were plastic - this is likely the single most used item in the kit. I'd rather a few less bandages or wraps if it meant I got metal tweezers... There also wasn't a first aid pamphlet or any guide on how/when to use the items. Little disappointed in that and a missed opportunity for the product as a whole. Overall, not bad if you don't mind replacing the tweezers and printing out your own guide.

Was looking for a kit that had most of the necessities for our Bernese puppy and this kit was the best one I could find. I added a couple of things that I thought were missing and there was space in the bag to put those in. We take it for travels, hikes... and also have it at home for any little accidents that might happen. It's small enough to put in our small hiking bag and not too heavy. A must for pup parents

Has pretty much everything you need for an emergency for your fur baby. I definitely feel better having this with me when we travel and visit the dog park.
