HeatGear fabric is ultra-soft & smooth for extreme comfort with very little weight. 4-way stretch construction moves better in every direction. Material wicks sweat & dries really fast. Anti-odor technology is a superlative innovation which helps prevents odor.

Under Armor is a solid brand
Ive been an UA fan for atleast 15 years and the newer products are atleast as good. These are very light material and equally comfortable. Being that they are very light if you use the pockets the contents are likely to sway when you change positions.Im 5'6" 165 with a very athletic frame and these go past my knee by 3". The waist band helps it fit, there is plenty of room in the thigh area as they re shorts. I bought mediums

Amazingly comfortable with huge pockets that will keep all your stuff from falling out.
These shirts are my new go-to. One of the nicer “features” of the shirts (besides the comfy light stretchy material) is that the tie string is secured at the back of the pants so the string won’t pull through in the wash where cheaper or less thoughtful shorts will have the drawstring pulled out entirely (and I hate losing drawstrings like this). So very well done. Great elastic waistband. Deep pockets that will keep your belongings inside (I even went for a 20 mile bike ride with a wallet, entire set of keys, large cell phone, pocket knife, and headphones in my pockets and everything was fine and somehow comfortable. Incredible shorts really.

Super lightweight and sweat absorbing
My wife and I are taking long walks during this pandemic era, in 90+ degree Florida heat. These shorts are ideal for this. They are as light as tissue paper, but sturdy as well. I carry my phone, wallet and keys with me. The pockets are DEEP, but mesh, so not at all bulky. I really like the sturdy, wide waistband, which has plenty of elastic, almost negating the need for the ties. The shorts wash and dry in no time. And... they look good (i have the black) . Great value!

Highly Recommended by me - Have owned a pair for 1 year
I got a pair of these about a year ago from another source. Not perfect but, they fit my current size, and I fell in love with the comfort. And a break from the heat. I got 2 different colors, and they seem to be the same decent fabric. They are plain with seams, and pockets. Nothing fancy. The Good - Great fit at the waste. I am currently a 34 although I can wear a 36 (in denim pants) the L size of these fits tighter but not overly so. The XL size still fits fine but is more loose. If you wear a 36-38 consistently, I recommend XL or XL-T. If you are more 34-32 then get the L or L-T. I go between 36 and 34 so I got both! The T just means "tall" and the inseam is 2" longer. The waste band is different from normal elastic (better) The fabric is 4 way stretch so it is comfortable lets you move however you want. Extremely good in HOT temps. If there is any wind it's like you have nothing on. Even with no wind or indoor, they are extremely "light". Even in winter, I wear these to bed with long johns under or just these. The thin, light fabric seems to last. I have washed them normally with darks in a normal washer and they still look and fell like the new ones. The Bad - They are expensive. (but worth it) You need the right size, The fabric is so thin it's almost see-through with a light source behind it especially when stretched. (if you care)There are more "trendy" or others with stuff printed on them, but I don't care about what others think. Any downside is what other might think of them (on you) wearing them is a pleasure. I think they look very good.A phone in your pocket weighs more than the shorts do.For men...the pockets are nice to have, but running or being active....anything in the pockets can bounce around and hit you in areas that things shouldn't hit.Neutral - If you find a product from UA you like - pay close attention to the exact details. They have a bunch of different technologies and fabrics. It's hard to find the exact same thing you own months or years later. I'm pretty sure they have changed or discontinued some of their "models" but overall UA is excellent IF you get an item that fits - and is made of the kind of fabric you like.Charged cotton shirts are some of the best fabric I've ever worn. (These are not charged cotton, but I think this fabric works better for shorts, for me)While looking for these I got a pair called UA 9" Qualifier Woven. They are a totally different fabric. Not a bad thing, just different and not as good for me. (refer to neutral section)I once got a UA shirt with the strangest magnetic, static electric, dust collecting properties I've ever seen. It was unusable.

Comfortable Under Armour quality
At 6’1, the Tall XL is more Basketball shorts than gym shorts, so in hindsight I would have gone with a regular XL or L. That said, they’re very comfortable and lightweight even with my overestimation so I will most likely order a second smaller pair for gym/running and keep the larger pair for lounging around the house.I’d say the most noticeable points for these pants after a few days of use are:- Comfortability. Waistband is flexible enough and the lightweight material feels fantastic. Great for lounging and workouts.- Lightweight. Great for gym shorts if you can order the correct size.- Flexible material. Again, the material is great for gym shorts, but not so great if you get a size too big and intend to use as workout pants.

Great for tall guys, light and airy
Not sure what is up with some bad reviews, and some people are promoting Nike shorts, but these are great shorts for tall guys, especially if you want a longer size at or above the knees. They are light, airy, and have a little stretch in them, all the things I really like in shorts. I use them for working out, walks, and just hanging around the house. I don't use the pockets in any brand of shorts, none of them are meant for carrying wallets, keys, and phones. Seriously, they do what they were designed for. They are all about the same in this price range, but these are a little bit better made. I liked them so much that I ordered a couple more pairs.

Great shorts but......
My husband is happy with these shorts and they are true to size. The material is soft and free flowing. I was unhappy to see that I paid 49.47 for them and the tag said way lower (see picture). I don't mind spending a few extra dollars for shorts or other products that I buy through Amazon as the convivence is well...coinvent for me. I am not particularly happy about the difference in the price I paid and the amount that was on the tag. Hope this helps someone who is thinking of purchasing this product. My husband has the black pair of shorts, which is pretty much the same short and we paid way less. I review lots of items and I am usually very happy to write them. This is a review of happy with the product not happy with the price. Thanks.
