Broken pieces
I loved the cookies but all broken up but some were whole. The tin did not protect them much need a better shipping container so cookies do not break up so badly.

Delicious
I recently visited Charleston, SC and purchased a small bag of benne seed cookies from the same manufacturer. The thin wafers were so good I wanted more. Ordered the tin and the cookies were fresh and fabulous. However, about half of the tin of cookies were broken. I would have been disappointed if I were giving the tin as a gift. But still tasted fantastic.

Just like I remember.
I haven't had a Bennie Wafer since the 80s. They brought me back. Excellent!

Very Delicious!
The wafers were very delicious! I always buy them when I am in Charleston SC. The review would have been higher with one exception-Most of the wafers were broken into many pieces when I received the order.

Amazingly fresh and delicious l!
These delicate little wafers of yumminess are sheer perfection! Yes, there is a bit of breakage even though they were packaged carefully- but that is to be expected with such fragile creations of OMG goodness.I show pictures of nearly a full can of perfect coin-sized delicacies and a small bag of all the broken ones.I save the perfect ones in a ziploc for company and snacking. The crumbs- well I LOVE using them on top of ice cream! Whole or broken, these babies will not go to waste!Thank you, Olde Colony Bakery- you never disappoint!

A very special SC treat to share with Denver friends.
I was very disappointed that this $30 tin of SC wafers arrived half crushed. I intended to gift wrap them in cellophane bags to share with Denver friends.
