Foampro Mfg. 132 Spray Painting Door Stand, Yellow

Used these on a professional painting crew to repaint about 12 doors. Worked well, even on doors where we had to use only 1 hole on each side. Really like that the screws are stored directly on the stand when not in use, little things like that can make all the difference.Necessary, in my opinion, to have a helper when standing the doors up, and I drove a couple heavy duty structural screw into the bottom of each door as stilts so there were no issues with the paint sticking.Finally, make sure you tape off the hinges before you mount these, if you care about such things...which you should because it matters!

Works well

Great little gadget that quickly and easily lets you connect two doors together which allows for painting. (Since I was replacing gold hardware with brushed-bronze, I removed hinges prior....if you're not, you'll need to remove a few to use these.)CAUTION: Be careful if you only use one of these..I was rolling a couple of doors I had secured with one of these and the movement of the rolling caused the screws to pop out of one sending both doors down to the floor. Since that paint was still wet, I quickly reattached and went over them again. SO USE TWO TO SECURE YOUR DOORS! (Top and middle hinges)

I never knew these existed. I bought two to paint 4 new exterior doors and they worked great. I spray painted 4 doors at once both sides two coats in a few hours. What a time saver.Highly recommend.

Like other reviewers, this product is a great simple way to allow two doors to stand together. Unfortunately, like others one of the two I purchased only had the one screw - the bag with the other three (which they screw through one screw into the bracket) was missing. No big deal I guess, but it speaks to quality control and even to the care of people packing these items. Do I have screws - yes. Was this item inexpensive - yes. I just wished they cared a little more about the product.

These things work great. I was able to paint 14 doors at one time by using 7 of these. I recommend buying if you plan to paint some doors. Cheap and easy to use. A must have for painters.

I purchased four of the door stands. When Amazon delivered them, two were missing the small bag of screws. This was not a huge deal, but I wrote an e-mail to FoamPro explaining the incident. Greg responded the next day and had the screws in the mail almost immediately. Customer service has always been important to me. I would highly recommend purchasing any FoamPro products.

Anyone painting multiple doors this is an amazing little tool!
