Versitile product! Looks good and sticks great to clean surface.
I used this to replace the seating pads on my classic Hobie wave. The key? "Cleanliness is next to godliness" I always say! I removed the old pads, in my case they were able to be removed complete in one piece. Its easy enough to use the old pad as a pattern, I marked spots on the patter to align the gaps on either side of the seat. I cleaned the rinsed the surface and re-glued the caps that are underneath the pads first. I then cleaned the surface using 99% Alcohol pads until nothing else would wipe off. Then I peeled and stuck the pads and trimmed with X-Acto knife. This product stuck well enough that I struggled trimming even small amounts because they were stuck so well. After one day in the hot sun, the ends seemed to curl up some, I had not gotten them wet yet, so I just pressed them back down and placed some weight on the curled edges. The next day they were tight and right and have not peeled anymore. I am going to say this product works well and give it a thumbs up!

5 STARS - Amazing stuff. Highly Recommend!!
This stuff is absolutely amazing. I did NOT use just the backing adhesive that came with it however, I ordered a can of the 3M adhesive, but I spent some time making 2 templates out of cardboard and was specific how the lines ran and edges curved etc, and mirrored the right 2 sections to the left 2. This turned out AMAZING looking. The swim platform was so slick before adding this. I thought it may turn out to look cheap, but when I received the package was pleasantly surprised. One roll was enough to do all 4 swim platform pieces and the floor hatch, but really worked at maximizing the roll by the size of each piece. It is really soft, looks great, is not slippery at all, and very easy to install. Has been on for a couple of months now, and not a single edge gas come up at all, and I just took these pics today. I also added some to my floor storage hatch but forgot to take a picture. I have had dozens of compliments from strangers at the boat docks that ask what it is and where I got it done. They all think I had it professionally installed. I am going to add some to my bass boat, and honestly may completely re-floor one or both boats with it. I like it that much. I couldnt decide which color, but went with the brown and black lines, since my boat isnt bright white, its slight off-white, and very glad I did. I also ordered some of the edging thinking I would edge every piece to look like the factory installed jobs,, but that process doesnt turn out like you would expect, but turned out great without it. I highly recommend this product !!!

VERY Thin - Recommend
I was was disappointed as to how thin the material in between the raised matting was. If a person is not REAL careful and accurately install it exactly where it is intended to be, then it will shred in an effort to reposition it. Additionally, putting it down and grooming all of the wrinkles and air bubbles out of it is a real challenge.I'm curious as to how well it will hold up as it is quite soft foam like matting. Another concern is as to whether or not it will mold/mildew/retain fish residue, etc.It is soft and comfortable to walk on and does provide a non-slip surface.

Very Impressed
I have 2 flat bottoms each with a larger bow deck/seat, and I had a non slip material on it that worked well but held a ton of sand, which would always be flying in your face when driving so I wanted a non-slip surface that was easy to wash the sand off. I was very hesitant to get this figuring the dog's rough feet and claws would tear it up quickly. First installation, it had a lot of memory from being rolled in the box, made putting it on the 1st boat a little more difficult, for the 2nd boat I rolled it out and put weight on it for a few days. I also did not fully trust the adhesive, so after I cleaned and sanded the deck I used spray adhesive in addition to the peel and stick. So far 3 trips out with the dogs, staying stuck down great, no signs of scuffs or cuts from there feet. And it is non slip even when wet, I am assuming it will not handle the mud as well as my old mat once duck season starts, but it should clean off easily and be fine.

Does not hold up to UV exposure (S Florida).
It looked great when applied but within a few weeks the material has degraded to the point where touching it leaves a fine powder and if it's wet it will leech out and stain anything it touches. Does not hold up to UV exposure.

Pretty good stuff
After several near misses and finally actually slipping and falling into the lake, I decided I needed to do something about the surface of my boat’s swim deck. When I received the product, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. I was expecting a more rubber material, but this pretty much foam, not very rubbery. I was concerned it might not be very durable, and might need some additional adhesive to make it stick. So far, my concerns have been unfounded. If you clean the surface well (I used acetone) it sticks down quite well on its own. You can cut complex shapes with a razor blade, and I found it to be tough enough to dull a razor blade pretty quick. Seems to withstand shoed foot traffic surprisingly well, but it’s still early yet. I used a couple strips of it on my boat trailer fenders too. I’m sufficiently impressed with it that I’m considering re-doing the entire boat floor with it, but I’m going to wait a while and see how it holds up on the swim deck. The traction improvement is significant, and it provides a little cushion too, which is nice when kneeling.

Looks good but doesn’t stay stuck very well
The product showed up and did everything per instructions. I have yet to take the boat out but it’s already starting to peel up from just sitting

Best one I’ve found
I tried other companies, but this one seems to be the best. Not cheapy thin like some can be, decently priced, and nicely detailed.I use this as flooring in my fish room because I’m a crazy person. It’s amazing for anything water related. Imagine a non-stick pan but a floor. Amazing.I am using the light grey but also have the charcoal color in storage because I liked the product so much.

This stuff ROCKS!
This flooring is so nice, thick, classic looking and really elevates the look of our old beloved Bayliner. It was so easy to trim to fit and put down, it sticks like heck and gives a real "wow" look immediately, to the point people keep stopping by the boat to ask what it is/where they can get it. It's tough and forgives our wild adventures including fishing, barbecuing, eating, drinking, spilling, laughing, dog paws, messy relatives, and leaving our wet shoes on because it's that kind of boat/life. We hose the flooring off, stains disappear and it dries and looks calm and classy again shortly after. And it was exponentially cheaper than boat shops/boat supply dealers. Recommend!

Comfy and looks great
Glad we read the reviews. This is a Kingfisher Aluminum boat. We acetone and then windex’d the floor before applying. We also sprayed the 3mm adhesive down before putting the flooring down. The backing paper and adhesive is “ok”. The cut outs of the flooring aren’t square which wasn’t a big deal for us as we had plenty of extra. We outlined the position of each piece with painters tape. The. Used a large sheet of poly caper barrier to trace and outline the pieces. Took the Polly and put the foam flooring underneath it and cut it out. It took us about 4 nights to do all this but turned out great. The flooring is comfortable and durable. I have dragged coolers, fish, crab traps, and prawn traps across it. It never tore or lifted but we spent a lot of time carefully applying the flooring down. Our dog really liked it when we put this down as she has way more grip so do the kids. One of the only complaints I have is it’s hard to clean. If you have dirty shoes or even walk from the dock onto the boat and dirt gets on it it takes a bit of elbow grease to get everything cleaned. It doesn’t hold stains but does take a bit to scrub it. I never had problems with it lifting or bunking in the sun.I would use it again.

Product for the most part is nice on the feet
Eva foam came damaged. Punctured from shipping. Should be able to use it. Don’t want the extra hassle of having to return another product.

Does not last
Was really happy with this when we first got it, even ordered more. the following year we discovered that it bubbled and tore over the winter despite being stored indoors. completely ruined. Not worth it to install it. it only lasted 3 months.
