I'm a person who has worn this sort of nylon trouser sock with slack for my entire career. All brands are not the same as they once were, as they seem less durable, or the material just doesn't seem as nice. They call these 'silky' and that's just not so, however, they are nylon trouser socks and not silk stockings. They fit fine, they are not all that sheer. The bundle of socks that I received has one or two that are not quite the same size as all of the others, but I just didn't want to both returning them for that reason. They work for my day to day use, and we shall see how well they last. I needed them, they can't be found everywhere, so, this is a convenient and reliable option for me.

I have purchased many pair of these socks over the years- mainly at CVS. I was thrilled to see them at Amazon! They are made very well and consistent in sizing.

warm heart so they say. Gets pretty chilly in my place, I alternate the high knt socks that aren't silk w/these. very important to sleep w/warm feet. Little slippery pm my wooden floors, another reason I alternate. Love these, soft and ofc silky! Highly recommend.

I wear a size 12 shoe and have long legs to match. Anyway, these are perfect. They easily stretch and seem to be a very good quality. They stay up, don’t sag. I’m very happy.

well now, I am a textiles major so I guess I notice more than others when it comes to fabrics: my complaints: mismatched dye lots (some brownish black, some bluish black), mismatched lengths -- by as much as 3-4 inches; so trying to make matching pairs when they come out of the laundry is a major chore; I can understand that they are probably using multiple manufacturers, but please try to get those in any one package uniform; they are useable and covered by slacks so I guess most people might not care; I did find the top elastic band left a rather prominent mark after a full day of wear which makes them less comfortable than I would like

I can wear these in the new shoes that fit at first, but after a couple hours, pinch. These socks are nice, thin, and flattering. For warmth when wearing my walking shoes, I just slip on a pair of ankle socks, and away I go.

I ordered the 9 pairs of no nonsense trouser socks and only received 3 pairs. They usually come in 3 pkgs. Of 3 pairs and I only received pkg. Of 3. I tried through the return section but I Don't want to send them back, I just want my other 6 pairs sent.

Comfortable, attractive and made of steel!

These are not overly long for my short legs, and the wide band makes them more comfortable than most brands I've tried. It's too early to comment on durability, but it's the first time, in a long time, that I've found trouser socks that fit and don't dig in.

Finally, this is exactly the type of trouser sock I've been looking for. I've tried so many stores, boutiques, and even shoe stores but none sell what I was wanting.These are intended to be worn with dress trousers, though wear them with jeans if you like too! They shape to the foot and leg well, don't loose their shape, wash well but best of all they are ideally suited to be worn with dress slacks. That means they are not a heavy sock at all, probably a step up from a nylon or pantyhose texture/thickness.
