They dont seal at all
Sadly it doesn't seal. The box needs to held flat like a plate or the food gets mixed due to the high space between the lid and the depth of the food spacers. So sad, i tossed them after i tried everything to keep the food separated. The kids did not used them at all.

I ordered this lunch box for my daughter to take her food to preschool. It help keeps her food warm for a long time. She likes it so much and I think she eats more than at home because of cute box.I'm happy so far and will recommend it to my friends.

Quality lunch box.
My daughter loves the color. It's made of quality stainless steel and should last a long time. Our older plastic lunchbox was much harder to clean tomato sauce. This box makes cleaning a breeze.
