Sika Anchorfix 1+ is a fast chemical sealant used to seal threaded rods in hollow brick or solid brick that is extracted using a standard gun. Certified: a+; CE marking according to ETAG 029 and ETA 18-0968 Technical information: Application temperature: between +5°C to +35°C. Density: Approx. 1, 74 for mixing. Thickness of the layer: 3 mm max. Application method: drill the hole to the diameter and depth required, depending on the size of the anchor. Carefully clean the hole using a round brush suitable for the diameter of the hole to remove dust particles (at least 1 time); the diameter of the brush should be larger than the hole diameter. Clean the hole using a blower pump or air without oil, starting from the bottom of the hole (at least 1 time). insert a suitable diameter filter (not supplied with the cartridge) into the hole, leaving the centre ring open. By pressing the trigger of the gun, extrude the mixture out of the hole until the 2 components are uniform from the nozzle output (a non-homogeneous mixture should not be used to seal). Release the pressure of the gun, then clean the nozzle end before injecting the resin into the drill hole. Injection is done from the bottom while gradually retracting the mixing nozzle. Be careful to avoid air inclusion in the resin. Close the sieve with the centre ring. The conical part of the ring must be inserted into the body of the sieve. Immediately engage the element to seal in the sieve by printing a slight clockwise rotation motion to the bottom of the sieve. The item to be sealed must be put within the limits of the handling time. During curing time, the anchor must not be moved or charged.
