Couldn't decide between this and the Alpha-Gel version
This bad boy is comfortable! The writing is smooth. I was afraid of applying pressure as I wrote, but this was not at all brittle.

A new spin on pencils.
Very comfortable. The rotating lead writes as if it is thinner than the lead you are using but with the strength lead being used. So, a .5 writes like .3. This makes writing more fun. The only catch, literally, is sometimes the pointed edge can catch or dig into the paper, tearing it. But if you use a sturdy paper (smooth and hard), it's unlikely to happen at all. These pencils have me setting aside my Sharp Pentel pencils which are more solid and better built, but the Kuru functionality is very practical and preferred when penciling into my calendar. All my writing looks all the same thickness, so it looks neater. I find myself missing the Kuru when I'm using a different brand.

Great pencil absolutely love it for fine detailed work
Great pencil absolutely love it for fine detailed work.Only problems (there being only 2)First one being that the lead is so thin it breaks easy.Second is the price of replacement lead is expensive and makes the niceness of the pencil less desirable.

Best mechanical pencil that exists in the universe
Love these pencils, the smaller diameter lead takes a little bit to get used to. If you want a solid mechanical pencil get one of these.

Great quality for the price.
Good and very cheap. It is not the advanced turu toga which I prefer for the sliding sleeve, but for the price this is very nice. 0.3 and a light hand makes for thin lines which I prefer.
