This necklace was a birthday Gordy for my nephew. His mom wanted to give something different and something to always look at.

My son loves it!

My wife bought these for each one of our two sons. My less than interested younger son, shoved his gift in his sock drawer, never to be seen again. My older and more dense son just opened his gift, looked at it, and left it on the kitchen table. While my wife was sad that neither boy liked or wore the gift, she was more annoyed that my older son just left the gift on the table. At least the younger son made an effort to put the gift away in his room. It has been over a year and the unused gift is still in the original box, in the same spot on the kitchen table. My oblivious son has no memory of the gift, or his leaving the box on the table, or how angry this makes his wife. My wife now utilizes the boxed gift in many ways when she sets the kitchen table. She now uses the gift to prop up the salt and pepper shakers or to prop up serving bowls, or to place centerpieces upon. Sometimes she puts “post it”note reminders on the box, sometimes she props up thank you/birthday cards on it, once she even placed the spare car key and house keys on it. The other day my wife’s best friend wore a similar necklace, for a mother- that her kids gave her. My wife said that our sons are animals. Her mood has been worse than ever...
