Italian "pasta with benefits!"
I couldn't imagine that any pasta would have a taste so good as to stand out as it did in everyone's glowing reviews. I got the Tortiglion and it is like short ziti with ridges. I made baked ziti with it; and before prepping the dish, I tasted the cooked pasta and only had put some EVOO on it in the bowl bc I had to wait to assemble it and didn't want it to stick together. It tasted like I had dressed the pasta with a butter sauce. It IS tasty just like the reviews say.The added benefits are many...the bronze die is a big deal; it makes a better pasta. I also was VERY pleasantly surprised to see that once I opened the box, the pasta was contained within a sealed, protective plastic bag. Most pasta brands do not do this, their pasta is loose within the box and unprotected. The bag is important to me bc it acts as a protective shield against creepy crawlers should they get inside the top flap of the box, especially in spring and summer when they are around. With eight boxes to store, I appreciate the manner in which the manufacturer of this product respects the consumer. I feel much better about this unique packaging. I also appreciate knowing it is free from common allergens bc I have a granddaughter w/allergies to think about. The statement lists outright the common allergens it is free from--including tree nuts, shellfish, etc.. These are the specific ones it was reassuring to see in black and white. It is a certified organic pasta, and it lists the "best use by" date, that is 2 1/2 yrs from when I rec'd it. All this at a very fair price! One more thing...if you think that 8 boxes is too much, it isn't. My husband and I are the only ones in the house, and we don't eat pasta every week; but "think out of the pasta box," no joke intended. Just today I was attending a brunch and told not to worry about bringing anything. So I put a few items together as a hostess gift....An inexpensive soft-bound Italian cookbook, a small bottle of EVOO, an organic bunch of Sicilian oregano AND a box of this pasta. I was very proud of myself for creating this Italian-themed gift, that was inexpensive and well received. You would be proud to gift this pasta to anyone for all of the above reasons. I am very happy to have discovered this Italian pasta brand, and I will be purchasing more in the future.

Let's just say, I eat this every night. Seriously.
I live in the boondocks...also known as way out in the sticks, or to the end of the world and back, the boonies...ok, you get it. I live 20 miles from the closest store and 60 miles from the closest GOOD store. I love pasta and I had run out of my usual grocery store pasta. I looked on Amazon out of curiosity to see if I could order pasta and receive it pretty quick. And of course, yes I could. The only problem was I had to order eight boxes! I live alone and eight is not what I planned, but after I read the reviews, I pulled the trigger and ordered. OH MY GOSH! This pasta is almost clear when it is cooked and it is perfect in texture. It takes only five minutes to cook and is delicious! I top it with olive oil and a little salt, pepper and parmasean cheese. It would seem immoral to put a sauce on this pasta. But you might have an equally delicious sauce recipe you could share that stands up to this pasta. Truly, this is a delicious pasta. You won't be sorry you ordered it. I gave a box to a gourmand friend of mine and he looked at the package and said; "Oh! This is the good stuff!"

Freshest, tastiest boxed pasta I have ever had!
You really get the sense that you are eating fresh made pasta! It is packaged so well, with the pasta sealed in an airtight wrapper within the cardboard box, not loose as would be typical. This really makes a difference as the linguine has a snap when you break it instead of the usual crack of a hard boxed pasta. I do recommend cooking longer than the specified time. I like my pasta firm, not mushy at all, but not so firm that it sticks in your teeth. That usually takes about 13 minutes or so for the linguine, compared to the 8 minutes recommended by the manufacturer for al dente pasta. Totally worth spending a little more. Up to now I was a Barilla fan, still good pasta but Cinque Terre is definitely the superior product.

By Far The BEST PASTA We Ever Had!
My next-door neighbor at our office offered me a box of this pasta claiming it is the best ever and I'll love it. I thought, pasta is pasta - which I happened to love - but no big deal, right? Wrong! I took it home and cooked it for dinner. I immediately noticed the different consistency of the noodle. It was incredible...REALLY GOOD! I asked my friend later what made it so different. How in the world could the consistency be so dramatically different than the pasta I buy in the grocery store? He said it was the Bronze Die Cut process. Well, I am sold. This is the BEST pasta we have ever had. It might cost a little more, but it is so worth the few extra pennies. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! I was fortunate enough to try the other pastas from this same vendor. Each one was better than the last. INCREDIBLE!
