Easy and secure
The install was not too bad. The connection to my smartphone was a little challenging because the directions forget a few steps however customer service was available even on a holiday weekend. Love the convenience of having the door unlock as I approach. Would buy again

Not an Easy Install
I debated 5 vs 4. Once installed an running correctly it’s a great product as is the app. That said it was very, very time consuming to install. The door and latch opening had the be PERFECT or it won’t work. I had to make several modifications to the door and the latch. From there it took a while to figure out how to get linked to the app. The instructions are pretty terrible. I found a You Tube video to help me connect. Now that it’s up and running it’s great.

Arrived with damages
Item is high quality but it arrived damaged.

Does not connect remotely
This is a solid quality lock. Installing the lock was easy except that it didn't align to the stryker hole the same as the lock I replaced, in a brand new door. Setting up the Emtek coding was smooth. The Yale accessories (Access & Connect) are mostly worthless. Can only get Bluetooth to connect, not WIFI, which means no remote access, which means why bother. Look elsewhere.

Looks great, small form factor. Recommended.
This had the sleek looks we wanted for being fitted to a modern door. The interior lock mechanism was smaller than other keypad operated smart locks we evaluated. Programming codes was fidgety but very doable. Battery drain seems a little high but still acceptable. Wish list is to be able to manage codes from August smart phone app, direct zwave integration, and it'd be very cool if they could keep it as small as it is and also incorporate a video doorbell.

Quality costs a bit more
This lock is100% quality.It is made of steel.It weighs 2x as much as the Nest lock we have on the other door.Much more robust than what you can buy at Home Depot.You get what you pay for - high quality item.
