Great idea but just not plausible
Ok. Here goes. These things are a wonderful idea. They really do work....if you can get your cat to leave them on and if you can even apply them without your cat running away or scratching you like crazy or both. I managed to get 8 of them on. My cat did not like any part of this process. You basically super glue them on. Even though I waited until she was asleep, it was still difficult because obviously you have to extend the nail out, waking the cat, and the cat starts to smell the familiar scent of the glue after a few rounds of this process and bolts as soon as she smells it! Once I finally got some on, the cat just ripped them back off. It's an endless battle I cannot win. I found them lying all over the place or sometimes they flew at me randomly whilst the cat bit them off. I will likely keep trying but I don't know if she will ever get used to them and leave them alone. It is a great idea and, in a perfect world where cats don't mind you extending their claws and super gluing plastic over them and expecting them to go on about their lives as normal, it would be a lifesaver. But no matter how well I feel I've mastered the application process, it isn't a perfect world, and my kitten just bites them right off and goes about clawing my flesh open. :(As for the seller and sale, I received these quick and in great condition, as described. They come with glue and instructions. They're very cute. You really can't reuse them. I tried to reuse them but once they get dried glue inside, they're too hard to form back over the nail again. They really get too stiff. You need them sort of bendable and pliable and the glue hardens them. I don't know if maybe you could wash them or soak them and then try to reuse them but I might give it a shot. Great concept, just not practical.

They do their job!
I bought these one for my sister's cat, who loves to scratch EVERYTHING! Sharpening her nails is her favorite pastime. My mother doesn't want to buy any new furniture in fear of our kitty cat's excessive scratching. So, since I'm against declawing (although it is my sister's cat, she pretty much mind as well be mines, as I am the one who takes care of her), we decided to give these a try. I was quite fearful of putting them on her, because she is a feisty one. Wrapping up in a towel or someone else holding her down would not be an option (due to no one wanting to risk the danger, lol). The trick with her was to make it seem as if I was doing nothing at all, but playing with her paws and letting her be in control. A slow process, but it worked. She didn't even notice I had capped her claws, so there was no need to hold her for 5 minutes to let the adhesive set. She pretty much laid down and continued to rest after every application. The one issue I had is the adhesive. They fell off when she would begin scratching (she managed to discard 4-5 of them. Still looking for 2). I finally just bought Krazy glue to apply them and they seem to be holding. The other ones I bought my second cat have yet to come off, only because he isn't obsessed with scratching (he's a gentle soul) and has yet to notice his nails are even caped.

nail caps good while training
I have a 7 week old kitten who is running around like a crazy wild woman. putting the caps on was pretty simple.with her since she hates the thought of being held down. my husband held and rubbed her while I pulled on toe at a time exposing the claw. glued it on and held it for as long as I was able to. then did the next toe until all were finished.we then held and played with her to distract her as long as we could. when she started to try to pull them off we fed her favorite food to her giving them enough time to set.*although she has picked a few back off 5 days in, she is less active with putting her claws out when playing and it didn't damage or hurt her when she pulled them off. the nail is fine and intact. I picked them up when I found them and put them aside. I haven't bothered to put the few back on because she has been doing better with her claws now. happy with them over all and have bought new colors.

Beware of accidentally gluing nails in :(
This is a two man job for anyone. On the the actual product. You get 20 claw caps (so I suggest getting 2 packs for replacements, some fall the next day if you didn't apply them right). The glue drys way too fast. Any cat would be a bit of a pain to put these on. I have a 4 month old cat who is very aggressive but managed. The problem is that it drys so fast that if I mess up and leave glue on her claw, it gets stuck and I glue my fingers to her hairs and rip them off and then worse, HER CLAW CANT COME OUT OF HER PAW. I have to wait 1 day for her to bite the glue off her paw! :( the cap itself is very soft so 0 damage. But seriously, buy GOOD Krazy glue and use that instead of the one that comes with these! They're super cute and much cheaper than the real brand.Cats reaction: she doesn't ruin our stuff anymore and she learned to jump better. She hates me for putting them on. Here's a photo of her when I put clear ones on her. She gets used to it. Application is always difficult though (due to my cat). The process is straight forward though.

No more scratching
I swear by these. I've been a dog person my whole life and recently rescued my first kitten in August. I was lost when it came to raising a three week old kitten (abandoned on a street), but the worst thing to deal with was the nails. She would scratch my clothes, my body, my family and boyfriend, my furniture. I did my research and considered de-clawing. Then, I read about these somewhere and had to try them. They are mostly low hassle to glue on to the cat's nails. I usually have one person hold her while I apply the glue and stick them on to her paws. They REALLY REALLY help in not letting her scratch things. My cat is a highly active maniac that is always all over the house. She still has plenty of ability to jump and run and cling to things, but now without ruining anything. I plan to buy these forever, as long as my cat lives. My only complaint is that the cat's nails grow, so they eventually pop off every month or so.

Hard to install.
Very difficult to get them on the kitten. That is... without glueing each of their paws together or yourself in the process. The ones we did manage to get in place didn't stay for long.
