Buttery, sugary goodness
This is my first venture into Scottish fudge (or otherwise known as a tablet), and I will admit it was the cute Labrador that drew me in. Unlike American fudge that is very dense overall, this was more of what I can describe as crisp grainy bite into soft sugary goodness. The middle bit inside the grainy exterior is more dense and creamy. The flavor kind of reminded me of a buttered sugar wafer with caramel, so this treat will definitely compliment a black coffee. The condensed milk, as it’s one of the top ingredients, is very prominent in the taste. The tin came with 8 intact squares of fudge, which I feel is quite generous for the price and the size of the the squares. Since this is quite sugary, I feel that these are best in moderation. After eating one and a half, I felt quite sickly due to the high sugar content, but that is a personal experience. Again, if you’re expecting a dense creamy fudge, be aware that this is NOT it. Overall, I enjoyed this tin of Scottish Fudge, and I think I will repurchase it in the future to serve to guests. I don’t see myself eating this every day, but more-so indulging in one piece every once in a while.

Delicious and Rich
This fudge was a new try for me, I'm used to and love the traditional fudge bought in America, I also love making my own, but I've never had "exotic" fudge before, so I figured why not? It came on time, in an adorable tin with a puppy on the front so darn cute you wanna reach out and pet him! Inside there is the only part my husband didn't like, the plastic the fudge is wrapped in... It's just your basic thick plastic with all 8 pieces of fudge magic inside. At first glance it's light in color, held together well, and smells Divine... When you bite into a tiny corner for that first taste, the caramel flavor hits you like a ton of bricks. Rich, super duper rich, buttery caramel takes your mouth hostage and refuses to stand down, even long after it's been devoured. I ate 3 pieces without even thinking. Letting these babies melt in your mouth is just like a dissolved handful of sugar babies just not quite as gritty, delicious, simply delicious. The tin is obviously usable and my fudge is half gone, I feel like I just ate about $3.50 ;) These are perfect for gifting... Why if I received these, I'd think I had a secret admirer for sure. I think I'll send a few and probably buy another in the future, but I still prefer that stuff I grew up with.... I think I'll make some.

Package was open
I was looking forward to giving my Mom this fudge. Most of the reviews were good. I love the small can with the Puppy, (smaller than I thought it was, but still cute). Good thing I looked inside the tin, because the wrapping was open and the fudge was hard and dry. Unfortunately, it is non-returnable. So, I do not recommend this product on this basis. I have to throw the product away. So, I basically just bought a small tin can for much more than it should cost.

Very Good
I gave it 4 stars because it’s simply not my favorite. It’s delicious though, absolutely. A bit grainy as it should be and yummy non-chocolate sweet, with flavor nonetheless ;-) If you ‘can’t eat just one cookie’ make sure you are not alone when you unpack and open it!

A delicious taste reminder of my holidays in Scotland.
I got this because I was having a craving. And it tasted just like the Scottish fudge I got last year visiting in June and July. Warning, it’s very sweet but I love that. It’s a small amount so it’s great for a sweet tooth without over doing it. Would also make a wonderful gift since the tin box is quite a lovely keepsake.
