Lovely smell

I received 'Charlie' as a gift from my husband back in the 70s when it first came out. He loved the smell which was amazing since most perfumes' scents made him think of bug spray. I wore it to work each day back then and a couple of the men working there asked me what scent I was wearing; they wanted to buy some for their wives. I was at the post office mailing a package in those days and happened to be wearing Charlie and the man helping me asked me what perfume I was wearing. He said he really liked the scent. I have never had comments from men before on the perfume I was wearing until Charlie. As others have mentioned, it disappeared from stores for a long time and then after a couple decades only a few carried it, and it just cost too much to bother with it. My daughter bought a bottle for me for my birthday a few years ago when she found it on Amazon. She told me that the scent always reminds her of me when she was a little girl and wanted me to be able to wear it again. Now I can buy it regularly here on Amazon for a very reasonable price. Every now and then someone will comment on the scent and how much they like it...still, after all these decades!

I buy this one frequently for my mom, she loves this and she always gets compliments!

Product easy to use. Used to freshen throughout the rooms in house occasionally.

This was my go to fragrance when in my 20s and 30s. It works well with my body chemisty. Now a few decades later, I decided to try it again.A little goes a long way. Im enjoyimg it again.

I have bought one bottle per year and this is not the same smell. This new bottle stinks. I plan to return it and buy elsewhere. I’m not sure what is wrong with it. It’s the same bottle as my old one as you can see in the picture, but this one makes me want to gag and when I put on my old one smells really good. The nose does not lie!
