3 stars just because it feels strong. Other than that it did not fit my 99 Golf mk4 when it states it does. As someone mentioned it does not sit all the way back and will not clip on forcing you to custom cut the dash piece to make it fit perfect. If you're going to order make sure part# is correct.

The construction and quality of this was great. It is genuine Audi product. It was such a relief to see that logo knowing I bought a quality product and definitely got my moneys worth. A purchase that is definitely worth it no regret.

Fit perfect and appears to be of good quality. After 1 year, it is still holding top and looks like new.

I received this today. Looks like an original, and it has the Audi rings on the underside. Looks like a VW/Audi factory unit, and I suspect it is or they wouldn't be allowed to add the Audi rings. It fits the original slot well and locks into place. Much nicer than my original version in my 2000 Jetta TDI. Very "beefy" unit. I have been wanting one of these for years but what the dealership wanted for one was absurd. I noticed it was a bit more snug in the slot than the original, but it locked into place and functions easily so I've no complaints. At this price, it's hard to come up with a bad deal. Remove your old one, look in the now-empty slot to see if there is anything that may prohibit the new unit from sliding fully into place, moving any such potential obstruction, as necessary. Slide the new cup holder in and make sure the side clips lock into place. An easy 2-minute installation.

Does not slide out as nicely as OEM holder, but the faceplate can be transferred to the OEM with ease. Tried lubing all possible wear areas with no luck. Might be able to find the faceplate itself for a better price.

This is the 2d one of these cup holders ice bought off Amazon and this is the better of the two. This one feels like the original.

Fits great and works Way better than original one. Just make sure to clear wires from behind when pushing in or it will never fit flush!
