I ended up buying two packs - but the first one was not well made.
The first pack of these had defective ¼ inch screws at the top of the device. The screws were threaded in at an angle. I arranged for a return but then had an unexpected trip to a relative's house out of the country. There was no UPS or other return facility there. And, it was a long trip. So, finally the return option expired. However, because of the return, Amazon sent me the second set. They were fine and are quite useful. They were picked up by family for me. Appropriately, because I did not return the first set, the charge for the first set was returned to my credit card. This was fine. It was my problem that I couldn't return the first set. So, I then took the first set and drilled out the threads on the poorly manufactured ¼ inch top screw (I've got a drill-press.) I reinstalled the screw - straightened - with epoxy and I now have a functioning second set. So, if you ordered these, depending upon the manufacturing you may or may not be satisfied. I gave 4 stars for the second set which were good and useful on arrival.

Awesome Versatile Clamp Bracket !
This bracket is made for standard 5/8" studs on either end so it can mount on a standard light stand. One of the provided studs is threaded 1/4-20 on one end and 3/8-16 on the other. The other provided stud has the clamp mounted on it with two cap screws that go through the clamp handle. The angle joint is made with squared splines which are very slip resistant. If you unscrew the joint screw 1 turn, then push in on the knob you can easily adjust the joint angle. The spring clamp also be mounted on a tripod or clamped to a shelf.I will be using this to mount flashes and to hold collapsible backgrounds on light stands. The parts appear to be well made. 2 of these for $23 is a ridiculous bargain.

excellent clamp!
this is a very robust and well made clamp... opens wide, holds tight with rubber to protect attaching surface, secures well to standard 1/4" male threads on a tripod or monopod extender, and helped me create a very effective and cost effective backdrop system;i am utilizing this clamp on the top of a monopod tripod extender, which is connected to the quick-release plate of a standard tripod, to hold a 6' x 2" PVC Pipe, then to hold a photography backdrop screen with clamps(identified below)... works awesome with one single tripod, monopod extender, clamps, and PVC pipe to setup your photographic backdrop screen at a fraction of the price for a typical high-height dual tripods and cross member to hold backdrop screens...most photographers already have a tripod, so just add the following to create a backdrop screen system:• 6' x 2" PVC Pipe• quick spring loaded clamps to hold backdrop screen to PVC pipe: Tosnail Stainless Steel Beach Bath Towel Clips Hooks Holder, Keep Your Towels From Blowing Away, Set of 18 • Clamp to hold the PVC Pipe: this clamp being reviewed; Anwenk Super Clamp w/ 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 Thread for Cameras, Lights, Umbrellas, Hooks, Shelves, Plate Glass, Cross Bars,Photo Accessories and More • Monopod extender to add to std tripod get to 8' - 9' height for a 10' long photographic backdrop screen: Luxebell Selfie Stick Adjustable Telescoping Monopod Pole for Gopro Hero 5, Session 5, Hero 4/3+/3/2, 40" (Black) • Backdrop screen (one black & one white): ESDDI Background Photography Backdrop Screen for Video Television Made of Pure Nonwoven Fabrics, 6 x 10FT / 2 x 3M Black and White other than the PVC pipe, all items for this system were purchased on Amazon for a fraction of the typical dual tripod & crossbar backdrop screen system.(ok, so now maybe you need another tripod to take the shots, but an additional tripod is cost effective and still keeps the total price well below that of a typical "backdrop screen system" and you still have only two(2) tripods vs. three(3), if space saving or minimization is a criteria for you.)pic away!!! :-)

Useful clamp, good price
Compact and sturdy little clamp for on-camera type flash units and small umbrellas, Metal construction, rather than plastic and enough joints to make it movable in useful ways. A little oil on the attaching screws is a tip, the small screw that tightens the shoe on the base of the flash can get hard to open (a coin-slot is provided as an emergency screwdriver, nice touch) but minor quibble. Small size makes it easy to carry with compact light stands to complete your location lighting kit.

Can't have too many of these well made clamps!
I make videos and have several pieces of equipment attached to rigs, audio bars, tripods, you name it.I was using huge Justin Clamps which added a lot of weight and lacked versatility and had a set clamp strength with a spring.I came across these Anwenk Clamps while casually surfing for something better, smaller, more secure.I also ordered a bag of 1/4-20 adapters so I'd be ready to attach my gear. These little clamps are very strong, well constructed and the tightening T-handle is just the right size.I can clamp microphones and digital recorders exactly where I need them while taking up minimum space. They stay put! No more clamp sliding, twisting, rotating at the wrong moment. These little clamps have a great rubber grip insert and really holds in place. What I REGRET, not buying more! I'm going to have these in my gear bag, I do with I had purchased the articulated 1/4-20 attachments instead of the fixed position 1/4-20 posts, but not complaining in the least. If you have video, photography or audio rigs that you need to attach your gear to, these are exactly what you will LOVE.I recommend them without hesitation.ONE tiny improvement, make the threated T-Grip BLACK so it doesn't show up in reflective surfaces, it's currently shiney silver and that gets visual attention.

Compact and useful back up.
Feels a little small, but, on a quick trial mounting a Simor P96 Led light, a small 96 led light, in the cold shoe and running an umbrella through the head, I can say it represents good value for money. If I had one thing to add to improve it would be more substantial butterfly screws, but this is a small thing and might compromise its compactness which I believe it to be its chief asset. Otherwise I would be reaching to find fault, which, given its price, is a positive sign.

Poor quality / loose springs and screws
Arrived without any instruction - not that I am incapable of using it/assemble it, however, it arrived dissembled and there were two tiny springs out, a metal element meant to hold a camera's hot shoe didn't fit when trying to put the springs into their holes and screw the element back. There also was a scratch on its metal part so seems like I've received a used and not assembled properly item.

Decent bit of kit for the money
A really useful bit of kit for any photographer who uses flash off camera. Sturdy and well made. My only complaint is that the angle of the umbrella is fixed and if you're using smaller umbrellas, it's impossible to get the flash in the centre of the reflector.
