I wanted a bodycam which had proper nightvision, not requiring white light. This fits perfectly with what I wanted. Also I think it has stereo microphones? It is better quality than I was expecting and has lots of features, better than most of the bodycams I have researched in my price range.This has good security features which can prevent unauthorised alterations of the stored files. All data is internal (no external cards) and you can require a password to get into menus, see past recordings and delete files. File deletion requires you to plug it into a computer and enter the password on the camera if you have one set.It has a wider view than another camera I saw and it has a very high resolution and H.265 encoding, which I wanted in order to save space.All in all, I wholeheartedly can recommend this bodycam to anyone or any company who need or want to add bodycams to their equipment. They help prove innocence, guilt, provide evidence, aid training and educating personnel based on reviewing recorded performance etc.btw, there's a pre-recording feature so you can leave it running and it won't record until you start the recording but when you do, it will have some prior time added to the start so you can capture something that just happened. Also you can go in the menu and disable the LED lights and this makes it entirely covert since nobody knows if it is on, off, recording etc (unless you have the IR lights on which have a faint red glow to them for nightvision)A very good bodycam. Also customer service is first rate, I asked a question about the nightvision and I got a very quick response.

Overall I am reasonably happy with the camera, its build quality and the video quality and most of the features it comes with. The IR feature is really good and gives a great quality picture.However, this camera is not for use for professionals, and is somewhat overpriced considering that it has fatal security flaws which make this more like a GoPro/amateur bodycam masquerading as a pro-level camera.What really lets it down is an incredible security oversight which allows the video to be terminated easily by a single press of a button even when the camera is password protected and even when the "post roll" option is selected (which is a feature designed to prevent someone tampering with the video by grabbing your camera and stopping recording the events going on).What good is a bodycam if it can be stopped recording without having to input the password set on the device?!This security flaw is unacceptable for such a pricey camera, and significantly cheaper bodycams have far better, tamper-proof features than this one, so I would be mindful of that if you are in the business of needing bodycam footage for evidence.Hopefully, the developers will address this fatal flaw with a firmware update, but, until then, I would just buy a cheap GoPro, or hope that your potential assailant is too dumb to realise they can press a single button to stop recording (and also override the post-roll feature).Other issues with the camera include:1) There is no way to externally sync or backup the video in real-time, like to an app or WiFi device. This compromises the security of the camera, in my opinion, as the camera could easily be ripped off even the most secure clippings with a modest amount of force;2) the annoying and less than covert start up and shutdown noises;3) the equally annoying and less than covert "low battery" nag (and believe me, it does nag). They should have included a silent vibrate feature which indicated low batter, i.e. 3 fast vibrates every 60 seconds, or other arbitrary period;4) The shoulder strap and chest plate are useless accessories and will not keep the camera in a usable position with even a modest bit of body movement;5) The manual is incredibly basic and lacks information about some of the features (which are reasonably self-explanatory if you're used to using such devices, but not apparent to a novice).If the manufacturer/software devs fix the fatal security flaws (and include an option to have a silent startup and shutdown) then I would rate the camera a solid 5/5.Until then, I would look at purchasing a better, more secure camera.

I am a complete technophobe so taking on something with more than 2 buttons is normally a no go area for me. I contacted the seller prior to purchase and recieved a quick and precise response. All questions were answered honestly and in a way I could understand. The camera arrived and I am more than pleased with it. A few extra questions , again quickly answered by the seller had me up and running in no time. This is a very robust piece of kit with a professional feel to all componants. The camera does everything it promised to do. The only thing I have not tested yet is the durability of the battery but have no reason to doubt that will be anything other than as advertised. I rarely leave reviews, especially for technical goods however I am so impressed with this product and the sellers exeptional service that I felt was well and truley deserved.
