Good price for fast tablet
So far the tablet has been great! This has been used as an XO tablet replacement for my son. It's much faster and loads quicker than the XO. It's great to have the slot for added memory. The screen is just the right size for games and color is nice. I would highly recommend this for quality and price.2/13/16****UPDATE****ONE STAR NOWI had the screen go black after a few months of having this device. I have contacted the company, who apparently only has an email based customer service, to apply the warranty. I was instructed by email to send the product back to them through the mail, postage paid by me, back for either a repair to my product or replacement. I did not hear from this company for 2 weeks. I emailed the company 4-5 times later for updates and no response. I am now out my product and my money. Do not buy from this company. It's not worth it. Their customer service is nonexistent. and it looks like their warranties are, too.

Glad that I did my research, too!
Okay. So, here's the deal. I am a techno geek; it's what I do every day of my life. I researched the iPad mini and the Samsung Tab 4 before coming across the DeerBrook line of tablets.I wanted a 7" tablet, primarily, to carry in my purse - something with a screen larger than a smart phone (for reading and game playing) and smaller/less heavy than a 10". Realizing that carrying a tablet in my purse all the time might result in a higher probability of damage, theft, etc., I wanted to be cost smart in my purchase without compromising my need for technology. The stats speak for themselves. The Tab 4 and the DeerBrook run the same operating system, and they both have the same total storage capacity. The Tab 4 has a slightly better screen resolution, while the DeerBrook has the faster quad core processor. The comparable, 1st generation iPad has no option to increase on-board storage and has a screen with less resolution than either of the Android tablets. The costs: 1st generation iPad mini w/32gb on-board storage - $315; Samsung Tab 4 - $140 (on sale prior to Samsung releasing the new 7" tablet); DeerBrook 7" DB+ - $55. The rationally-based decision is clear. Now let me go on a bit about the irrational drivers for me.Color, color, color! I love color, and the DeerBrook tablet comes in your choice of 5 glorious colors. The tablet is as sturdy as any of the other tablets that I have investigated in local stores (including the 2 cited in my review). Bonus - there are 2 ways to charge this tablet (both chargers included). The USB port on the tablet is a standard mini USB - fewer cords to carry around as it is the same as smart phone and several other devices. The tablet is easy to set up and use; it is the perfect size to carry around. The design is sleek with only the power button standing away from the case.Suspect that I have made it obvious that I would highly recommend this product. The only drawback that I have experienced thus far is that the manuals and instructions for the tablet are not very in depth. Balanced out, in my opinion, by all the positives associated with this product.

it get the job done
its cheap, i actually don't care for it and if I were to compare it to real tablets it would have a 1 star...but i bought it for my son so that he can use it on car rides. It does everything my nexus 7 can do, just a lot slower and the screen is nowhere as nice. Every time I use it just remind myself that my son is going to throw it around and that i only paid 50 dollars for it so I really don't mind if it breaks after a few months. The biggest issue is the battery life, it really only has 5 hours of use in it and cannot be charged via usb, you have to use the actual charger. For the price its a 4 star for sure just don't expect much from it.

Not a good tablet
I purchased two of these tablets. With one of them, we had issues with it not charging at times, sometimes refuses to turn on after receiving a full charge, and then after barely one month it completey stopped working. The other one is still going but used very little because it's battery life is so pathetic you can hardly do anything on it to make it worthwhile. Spend a little more money and get a higher quality product! I don't know if you even get what you pay for with this product.

Weak battery
Battery runtime is less than 2 hours on a full charge. Depletes battery at rapid rate even in standby mode. Tried to return it but Amazon will charge shipping costs to me so I'm stuck with 2 of these. Far as I know you are stuck with kit kat so forget about the hottest games like clash of clan. I don't see anyway to upgrade to lollipop. Other than that, it runs decent and accomplishes basic tasks pretty quickly and easily. Maybe the processor is just too fast for the battery. Keep in mind that I have 2 of these, so and same results on both. Not happy with this purchase but it is functional, just stay close to an electrical outlet.

Pretty Great!
Brought this tablet about 4 months ago, brought two one for my bro and the other for my sis. They still have them till this day, besides not being able to download instagram and the pictures not having good quality this tablet is really neat! Comes with a charger but can be used with any usb charger and the screen shows up exactly like the picture shown

Great tablet. beautiful color
Great tablet. beautiful color. works great with games. My son does a lot of games on tablets. Others would crash and couldn't handle the graphics. This does. Has a great amount of storage already but can be expanded. Thanks so much for an awesome product I have a happy son :)

Purchased this tablet as a Christmas gift for my four year old granddaughter who enjoys the usual kid friendly games and music videos. I am not the most computer savvy, but I do understand the basic functions of operating electronics.I decided to give this tablet to my 9 year old. This tablet is not user friendly. On the 2nd day of use, the tip of the ac adaptor broke off and had to be pried from the tablet. It's not worth the hassle of returning, and because it's low price I'm going to replace the adaptor and let my grandson keep it. You get what you pay for.
