Sign Warehouse Vinyl Express Cutter R19 Bundle w/ VE LXi Expert Software for Sign Making Hobby Craft

This cutter is everything I wanted. Compared to other brands, it is cheaper, bigger, and just as reliable. I must admit I was a little skeptical when contemplating buying a vinyl cutter, so believe me when I say that I did my research and came to the conclusion that this would be my choice -- I do not regret it. Everything arrived two days earlier than the earliest projected shipping date. I was very excited. Right now, I'll say that IF YOU DETEST INSTRUCTION MANUALS, DO NOT BUY THIS. Lol. I had to follow the instructions TO THE LETTER, so if you're good at that, then everything should be cake for you. It took me some hours, but I was lucky and ran into no problems installing the software and drivers. I love that the included software also lets me import vector designs I made in Adobe Illustrator as well. I'll be honest, my product only came in today and I've only made one test cut, but everything worked like a charm. My kit included the device, software, rolls on vinyl, and banner stock. Everything I needed, pretty much, to get started. Like I said, I've only really had it for a day, but so far, a worthy purchase.

I read everyone else input and I should have listen, The software is almost impossible to comprehend. I always get an error with "the key does not match the password"f I tried with all 4 of my computers and get the same error. I called and called and called the "so call tech support" but you do not talk to anyone, soooooo you have to leave a message, YES the call back but in about 2 to 3 days, when your not expecting the call and your not in front of your computer. Now when I did finally get the call from them I had to check the USB key that they sent me, and give them the key number that was on that USB key, (yup) there were no information on that key, sooooo I had to email them that information, waited another 2 days when they called me. Guess what they said? Oh Hercules you have to send that key back and we will send you another one. Now let me tell you that I received the cutter on Dec 23 and it's not Jan 3rd............. I'm done.

The only thing complicated about this is the hoops you need to go through to get the LXi software. The instructions could be a bit better constructed as well, but it's not the worst I've ever had to deal with. Trying to get the communications port was a little tricky because I was sleepy. Once I read the instructions and slapped myself in the face a few times to wake up I found the USB was communicating on COMM port 4. After that it started plotting easy-peasy.

I bought this for my father who used to work in a sign shop. He is getting along great with it after watching the videos for setup and playing around with the software a bit. While we were watching the videos we saw a ruler and a cover that were not included with the system we received. I wrote to the company to ask about these pieces. They explained that the video was for a larger cutter and that my R19 system was not supposed to include either. but... they agreed to find one that would fit (from an out of stock model) and send it to me anyway. Great and fast customer service. I will buy vinyl from this company and I would recommend both the product and the customer service.

this is my first one i ever have bought and been this in detail of use. i used another company's a few years back who made all of there own signs for trucks to what ever because its a lot cheaper to do it in house then to have someone else make signs when mine are so simple. I'm Glad i purchased it and followed the dvd step by step on set up just to make sure that i didn't make any errors in set up and it works great I'm using windows vista which not alot of things seem to work well with it but this program and cutter i have not any troubles with have had the unit for 5 days and used all of the material it came with now ordering more.

i have purchase this product on september 5th 2013 from amazon recived it on 17th September 2013 i've been calling Tech support about by password which is supposed to be on the case jacket of the DVD, i have a business an for me this is a set back not able to get help with such a puney matters im stil wating to get this password thing sorted out.... hope that they resolve this in the future, but this is very...

It's loud, hard to figure out at first. The software is a pain to learn if you've never used plotters before.BUTAt the price, you can't beat it. Aside from a few software glitches on setup, it works great and I'm always able to take on new projects.

Perfect starter kit. I've used a plotter before and when doing test cuts during setup, i was able to cut 1/4" lower case letters without issue. I can export from Corel Draw X5 and import into the LXi software with no issues. The only real issue I had was the activation instructions are different from the DVD setup video they send. I didn't plan on using an internet connection, but I didn't have much of a choice.
