This is prefect for us. I was surprised that it is plastic, but it makes sense now because of the low price. It doesn't look cheap, though. It was easy to put together and only requires one person.

This PVC towel rack is reasonably priced, stylish, and will work great next to our hot tub. You do have to have to assemble the pole and towel rings with provided screws. When I received mine the screws were loose inside the box. Included with the screws are small caps that match the color of the stand and snap on the screw heads to conceal them. I was missing a few of those little caps. I did not want to return the item so I emailed Outdoor Lamp Company from the info provided in the box. Frank from Outdoor Lamp promptly responded and sent me replacement caps. Great Service!

For the price the stand is great. Sturdy and stable (weighted base).

Way too expensive for the actual product. It's mostly plastic and not very sturdy.

Works perfectly for all the towels grandchildren throw everywhere. Weighted with sand made it pretty steady. Don't know how much wind it will withstand, but that isn't a big problem in summer when we are using it.

Were ordered the bronze and got the Bone. Very disappointed.

I order a lot of things on line and most of which is made in China or Canada or anywhere but the USA so when I got this box in the mail I was so excited when it came proudly marked with the American Flag and stated Made In America. To my disappointment this item is without a doubt the cheapest made product I have received. I returned the item with tear filled eyes.

It is made of plastic, but does the job. As other reviewers (and the manual) say, just fill the base with sand and water and you won't have problems. The design does mean that the towels bunch and don't dry as well - but on the other hand it means the rack takes up less space.
