Madd Gear MGP VX & MGX PRO Scooter - VX9 / P1

This scooter is very smooth and well built. My son rides it very often and enjoys how easy it used to use. It is very fast but easy to stop or slow down using the brake. The brake is plastic so it doesn't heat up when used.One if the best features are the handle bar grips. The ends are reinforced so they are very durable. My son just lets go of the handle whenever he is when done riding and the T bar falls down, smashing the grips into the concrete. But the grip doesn't break.The grip material on the deck is peeling up because of use, but I think it should stay better than it does. I have skateboards that are used much harder and the grip material stays in place.This is the preferred scooter among my son and his friends.

Deck tape started fall off at first ride

My son is pretty rough on scooters. We seem to go through about 1 per year. I decided to spend a bit more on this brand and see how it holds up. So far so good. These are built much better than the regular Razor beaters we used to buy. I have two sons 8 and 12 who literally throw these scooters around. We'll see how this one holds up.

My 10 year old daughter saved up her money to get a scooter like her brother has. He had the VX8 Pro. We couldn’t find that one available so we ordered the VX9 Pro. It has the same deck size and came in fun girl colors for her. She loves it. It rides so smooth just like the VX8. It is a good quality. She probably won’t do a lot of tricks with it but it’s a great scooter for anyone.

My 8 year old son got this scooter for his birthday about 3 weeks ago. He says he likes it very much and has been enjoying riding it. He rides it a couple times a week around our neighborhood. What I am diassappointes in, is that the grip tape is already wearing off after 3 weeks.

My son upgraded from his razor scooter. Definitely worth the money it rides so much smoother and he is able to ride at the skate park with more speed and control. First thing I noticed is it’s really light it gives him some extra pop when he jumps.It is the first scooter better than a razor I’ve ever seen him ride to be fair

The scooter came on time, packaged well and lived up to the description.Well made, solid and rolls forever... my six year old loves it and would live at the skate park if I let him.Would definitely recommend and will probably buy the new VX9 Pro when I can find it for sale.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 12 yo grandson. He was elated! He used my iPhone to go on instagram to spread the word to all his friends and forgot to close out, so I saw his comments. ALL his friends either said , lucky you, I'm jealous, or NO WAY! So it was a hit. Great quality, was received fast. I would highly recommend this seller and will use again if needed.
