Pro-Gel Food Colouring - Yellow

I was hoping for a very bright yellow I mixed it in an Italian meringue buttercream. I w as s trying to get to the colour of pikachu. I used almost the whole tube and it still didnt get to the brightness I wanted. Easy to use though no need for a toothpick like the pot ones

After reading so many fabulous reviews about gel food colourings I decided on this brand to try out. I simply wanted to colour a little serving of boiled white rice in a paella dish a vivid yellow colour instead of using saffron in the recipe. I was expecting to only have to use a few drops. 1 drop = nothing noticeable so put in 3 more drops. Then another 3, then another 3 and lastly a big squirt! It took 3/4 of the tube to turn rice yellow!!! Saffron would have been cheaper! Didnt even stain my dishcloths like normal food colouring does. What a load of rubbish! Threw the last few drops in the bin and wont be buying anymore !

Excellent depth of colour and only needs a small amount to obtain a good colour

Needed yellow to make coloured buttercream so used it to make yellow and green perfectly

Brilliant coloring, I used these to make a rainbow cake. The colors were really vivid and bright and I only needed one or two drops in the cake batter. There was no nasty taste like you can get with some food colourings. I highly recommend these for fantastic colouring of the cake batter itself , fondant or butter icing.

I have used these gel colours for years and they are the best, colour is strong and you only need a tiny amount to get the colour vibrant.
