NIV, Starting Place Study Bible (An Introductory Study Bible), Hardcover, Tan, Comfort Print: An Introductory Exploration of Studying God's Word

This was my first attempt at really reading the Bible as an adult. And I am so glad I choose this study Bible because it has helped answer so so many of my questions. It provides a lot of explanation in the footnotes to help better explain the background of things and just give additional insight. Periodically throughout the text, it also answers "common questions". And I've found that it actually does provide answers to a lot of the exact questions that I was thinking of throughout my own readings. I was really struggling with my King James version as a beginner and I felt like I was getting more caught up in the language, that I was missing the actual meaning. I'm really enjoying the NIV version; it's easy to read, but I feel it doesn't change the language so much that it's altering the meaning, if that makes sense? Overall, really happy with it. If you just starting out, I really recommend going with a study Bible in general. I feel I have gotten a lot more out of my reading and have a much better understand because of it.

I’ve been a believer for 5 years and found it difficult to get through the Old Testament. Been putting it off year after year after year. I made it a goal for the second half of 2021 to finally read through the Old Testament fully. What I like so much about this Bible study is that it gives historical context to scripture and explanations of the text. Also, some of the questions you might have while reading through the text will literally be answered in the footnotes at the bottom.

This is the perfect study companion for those who desire to dig deeper into The Word. I enjoy that facts are presented as unbiased. I love doing the reccomended studies & turn to this after sermons on Sundays for clarity. I highly recommend this study guide. It pulls from several of the Bible study guides & compiled it in one place.

I really like this Bible. The only negative I have is that the print is very small and difficult to read.

My 12 year old literally took posesion of it when she so the bible. The combination of color and study content is for all level. Teenagers can be attracted to it and adults. I like to read it because is like having a deep conversation over a matcha or coffee with someone about something good that you just read.

Super happy with this purchase. First time with a NIV Bible. Especially with the added notes, most understandable Bible I have ever read. Good for skeptics as well, lots of solid evidence.
