Pentair 271096 White Bulkhead Union Replacement Set Pool and Spa Filter

Included in this set were the bulkhead Union replacement fittings for BOTH the inlet and outlet pipes for the current Pentair CCP520. The earlier models of this filter had a different bulkhead union fitting. So make sure you are ordering the correct parts for your filter. This worked great! I loved that they included the a little packet of silica gel to put on the o-rings, as vaseline or petroleum products could degrade the filter shell.

I got a used Pentair FSNP 60 from my Pool Guy to replace a 30 year old filter. I tried plumbing it up using unions that came from Home Depot and Lowes. They did not fit. Then I went to a pool supply place and though a generic union would suffice. I was wrong, dripped a bunch and never sealed correctly. I just order this part after talking to Pentair Tech department....It was incredible from the moment I slipped it on.Made to fit....Do not try to use other unions...learning lesson 101.

Product arrived on time with all components as advertised. Product description is somewhat misleading. ID of the pipe is 2". To use with 1 1/2" supply and return piping, purchase 2 ea. 2" unions and 2 ea. 2" x 1 1/2" schedule 40 pipe bushings from your local hardware store. Slide the coupling over the adapter then use the bushing to connect your piping.

Easy to install using 2" sch. 40 PVC pipe, elbows and HD Oatey gray cement. Replaced a crappy Jacuzzi-brand pool filter that had the pot-metal lock ring freeze up with a Pentair in about 45 minutes.

Perfect fit and no leaks. Nothing more to say!

The Bulkhead Union Replacement Set arrived on time. They fit perfectly and saved a replumb project from grinding to a halt.

Delivered as a pair. Fit great. Should be recommended as add on for Triton II Sand filter. Came with a small pack of O-ring lube.

Worked exactly as needed.
