The Best of Saturday Night Live - The Coneheads [VHS]

My husband and I have watched this countless times since it was first aired. We practically have the thing memorized and quote it often. It's the best of the political skits on SNL ever, and it's hilarious. They did an updated version that's available on DVD for 2008, but it isn't quite as good as this one. Can't beat it... now if only they'd release it on DVD!

Not even close . Living Colour was mentioned and APPEARED in the closing for a few seconds. BUT not performed . SELLER was GREAT . VHS came in a few days. Factory sealed ! ALL that is " advertised is what you get. TAPE could of EASILY been 110 minutes or max of tape . But I'm a hardcore fan and missed this cast. PEACE

I love Toonces very much and do respect Mr.Bill. I'm suprised that SNL hasn't released more from both on these things called DVD'S ?! There are several other skits from both Toonces and Mr.Bill that unfortunately are not on this "Best of" collection. Worth getting tho, very funny material. Dry humor at its best.

Christopher Guest and Billy Crystal doing the "I Hate When That Happens" guys. Billy doing Sammy Davis Jr. and Fernando's Hideaway. Martin Short as Ed Grimley and Jackie Rogers Jr. What more could you ask for!? Others great talents performing on here are: Christopher Reeve (Superman), Julia Louise-Dreyfus, Mary Gross, Harry Shearer, Eddie Murphy, & many others.......

So disappointed. I bought this specifically for the hilarious John Goodman as Linda Trip sketches but SNL decided to cut those out and just gave a low lights of John as Linda. All of the other skits aren't really good at all which leaves me very disappointed and I do not recommend buying this.

ADD THIS TO YOUR COLLECTION OF GREAT SHOWS TO ENTERTAIN YOUR GUESTS. I STILL DO NOT MIND VHS TAPES WHEN YOU CAN PURCHASE AT THIS PRICE.

Bought these without the profanity and absolutely enjoyed them. You don't need cursing to be funny. This proves it.

The photo and large print on the box lead the buyer to believe that the VHS tape focuses primarily on the Coneheads. Not so. There is a bunch of other stuff--especially musical guest appearances--that doubles the length of the tape. The Conehead sketches are good as expected.
