First, for reference, I’m a 5’6” female weighing 135-140 lbs with a 28” waist. I read other reviews on this product saying the small/medium fit well and others saying they couldn’t even close the Velcro straps despite all stating they read the sizing guide. Keeping this in mind, and reading the sizing guide myself, I ordered both the small/medium and the OSFM (one size fits most) to ensure I had the adequate brace for my size and needs. What I need is a back brace that will give me good support at work while I do tons of walking (I average 17K-20k steps during my shift) standing, and lifting for 8 hours five times a week and relieving my constant lower back pain.Both braces arrived today and the results are in. The small/medium is basically toddler size and the OSFM doesn’t quite cinch tight enough for support. I uploaded three side-by-side photos to give some reference to how vastly different the two (and only two) size options are. Btw, when I opened the small/medium, I thought perhaps the wrong item was sent to me (hahahaha…..nope, it was the correct item).I was able to Velcro the small/medium closed with a bit of pulling but it was way too tight and there is no way I could stand to wear that more than a few minutes max. The discomfort coupled with the super unflattering (and quite hilarious) view was simply beyond ridiculous (no one would take me seriously if I showed up to work with it on, actually, I’d probably be sent home or told to remove it). The OSFM is appropriately adult size, which is nice. However, I have to pull the Velcro all the way over to the edge to get it snug enough for support and, honestly, I’m not sure that’s enough support (disappointedly, there is no way to cinch any tighter). What I find odd is that I am having issues finding a size that fits me considering I’m average size (no one would describe me as tall or short, nor would anyone say I’m overweight or underweight). Just average and underwhelming.While I can’t speak to how it will perform at work, the sizing options alone, or lack thereof, make both of these, in my case, returns. The hunt continues.

Great brace should have known that it would be made well coming from Muellor,has really helped my lower back lite weight can wear under your clothes not to hot,after wearing a while you don’t even realize you have it on,would HIGHLY RECOMMEND ,great price

Comfortable. Easy to use. Size is excellent. I don’t know what OSFM stands for but my waist is 38 inches and this fits quite nicely. This is a simple, quality made back support that is not bulky or complicated. An excellent buy for people with need for extra support especially low back pain sufferers.

I was hoping to avoid the cost of a prescription back brace and gave this one a try first. I have lower lumbar bulging discs along with other various arthritis and lower back conditions. This brace gave good support for sure, but, caused muscle spasms in my buttocks and lower back every time I work it even with appropriate use as instructed by a PT. I ended up getting the expensive prescription one that is much better for me personally. It's designed much differently. If you have medical conditions, probably best to check with your physician. One size doesn't fit all and cheaper isn't always better. It's not a bad product, it just isn't the best choice for everyone, like me.

Comfortable and works well. Major draw back. I do not think it fits more than 36 inch waist. I have 34 inch waist and it JUST FIT perfectly well, but that is it. I am using ONE SIZE FITS MOST-28-50". I do not think it is suitable or fit for more than 36 inch.
