In Kerala we use this to burn to get warm in the winter (also burns to heat water). You can buy full coconut with water for just rs. 20.

one can get coconut shells at Rs.2. by rubbing off its fibers and polishing it will sand paper or with any rough surface makes it as shiny as in this pic. people should really think twice or thrice before buying this crap at this price. its waste of money, totally worthless. we burn it as there is no other option to dispose it.
