The best ID badge holder that money can buy
I’ve purchased several of these for people I work with at Veterans Affairs everyone loves that you don’t have to remove your badge to swipe at the scanners at doors

Finally, a durable and protective badge holder
It is odd buying a product on Amazon that doesn't have any reviews. It is like the days of old where you took home something and only then learned it was utterly useless.Fortunately in my case, this did not occur with this badge holder. I use my badge a lot in my job and I became very tired of having to replace flimsy plastic badge holders about every 12 months. On top of that, I was also replacing the retractable piece around the same time.Requirements - Durable, the color blue, RFID security.OK, I wasn't serious about the color blue. The badge holder is very durable, I have tested dropping it, sitting on it, etc. No issues so far. There was a complaint about a similar identify stronghold badge but it lacked the spring loaded clam system of this model. The RFID shielding is serious, perhaps too serious. How serious? I had to change my process of scanning my badge. No longer the casual swipe, I now have to stop. Hold the badge physically against the scanner, face forward and then it will accept it. Any other angle and the scanners don't work. You might have also been in my situation where your replacing the retractable badge clips on a semi-regular basis. I upgraded to an all steel, kevlar string clip and it will not break. Look up the KEY-BAK #458B-HDK on Amazon.

Exactly what I was wanting.
I've been wanting a nice badge holder for my job that I could put the clip on the top with. The badge slides in and out easily but stays secure and is completely visible. Love it!

Easy access
It doesn’t come with the holder. But it is so much easier getting in doors not needing to take the badge out each time.

This thing is weirdly awesome!
I never thought I could be excited about a cardholder... To think, just days ago I was burdened with the primitive flimsy plastic sleeve... A sleeve that says "I like to settle for the status quo".I can directly attribute a recent promotion to the awesomeness of this cardholder alone. Just think... you've reached that awkward moment when both you and your supervisor (boss, chief, director) are walking into the building. You reach to pull out your keycard; suddently their eyes light up with the vibrant and stylish colors of your Badge Holder! You grip the tactical clam-shell-RFID-unblocker-action using the finely serrated anti-slip checkering. With a quick flick of the wrist and a flash of the silver inner foil the door unlocks. The only question they have is.. what is that?My response : the Identity Stronghold Badge Holder Classic (orange - to match my eyes)

Lasted 2 1/2 years.
This lasted almost 2 1/2 years of normal "office worker" use before it broke under one of the spring clips. It still functions, but it is hard to get the card in and out of now. I could probably glue it, but just bought a new one. I would've liked for it to last longer. Like I said, it doesn't get abused. It should've lasted much longer. It is much better than taking the card out each time to swipe and meets security requirements for RF blocking.

I use this every day for my badge at work and my employer will only provide those cheap badge holders. This one is really nice because it spreads apart so I can have my card read to get in the door, access gates, etc., without having to remove it from the badge holder. I would have given it 5 stars if it were a bit less expensive; these things do break, and for the price, eh, it's a bit much for a plastic badge holder that will need to be replaced in a year or so.

Work for what I needed.
Works great as a holder but still allows the door to scan without having to open it. Not so sure about its actual security.
