This was a very fast, simple replacement that just about any owner can do him or herself in less than five minutes (without painting the trim piece).The clarity of the mirror is every bit as good as the factory mirror, and the motor operated perfectly. I re-used the original foam seal from the old mirror because it looked like it provided a little better seal around the white harness connector for the motor.Three common tools are needed: A 5/16 nut driver, a 10mm nut driver/socket/wrench, and a flathead screwdriver. The plastic interior trim piece by the mirror pops off by hand, exposing two small nuts and one larger nut. There is a third small nut hidden behind a black plastic cap along the front edge of the door. It comes off easily. Take caution to remove the nuts without letting them fall down in to the door.Once all four mounting nuts have been removed, the trick to getting the old mirror off lies in using the flathead screwdriver to push the "wings" of the white plastic harness connector inwards in order to be able to remove the mirror. The new mirror will pop on securely, and the threaded mounting posts fit perfectly through the holes in the door.I would not put the plastic trim piece on the mirror unless you are certain you will not be painting it. Getting the old painted trim off is not easy, so the likelihood of breaking off the plastic clips is there if you install it before painting it. My trim piece came with one slightly bent clip, but that is not an issue at this point. I am painting it before it goes on, as my old trim piece is too banged up to buff out and make presentable. Plus, I want as close to a perfect fit as I can get by using the trim piece that came with the mirror.Paying $36 for a mirror is far better than paying nearly $200 or more to have a dealer do this simple, owner-friendly task.

Easy install and works well. Just be careful removing the inner plastic triangle trim from the door. I broke the tab off and had to just place the trim loosely back in place.

This was the second replacement driver side mirror that I ordered for my 2009 Honda Civic LX coupe. The first was from a different source and was a different brand than the Fit System offered by Titanium Auto Parts. That first mirror did fit my vehicle, but the glass itself was optically distorted and the OE outer shell from my original mirror (which is color matched to the vehicle) did not fit the replacement mirror properly. So when my passenger side mirror was damaged I decided to replace both mirrors on my vehicle with these Fit System mirrors.The shipment was made promptly and arrived at the shorter side of the targeted delivery window. Packaging was good and the mirrors arrived undamaged. Changing out the mirrors is an easy job; it took be about an hour to remove the two old mirrors and install the two new ones. The Fit System mirrors fit perfectly; the mirror glass was not distorted, and the color-matched back shells from my OE mirrors fit the Fit System replacements perfectly. Saved a lot of money by going this route rather than going to the dealer!

Perfect fit-- like a glove! Easy installation-- less than 30min by myself being my first time! In my case the colored shell wasnt damaged, and since it fit so well i was able to switch them. I was concerned i had to spend more money getting a professional paint job to the right shade of civic red. Switching them took care of that, no hiccups! No one can tell its not OEM. I paid less than $40 and with prime's free shipping, results were outstanding! Getting original parts and paying for professional installation was quoted upwards $400! Do yourself a favor, enter the precise specs of your car and do it yourself! Its really no science to it.

This is an excellent replacement for my 2007 Honda Civic Coupe! I called a couple auto shops and brought the car into the shops to let them take a quick look and they quoted me for over $270 and $300 to replace the passenger side mirror.I looked on youtube for guides and found this mirror for $30 to install on my own. Everything came in perfect condition. There are new washers so I can just throw all the old washers away. There is a difference on the outer shell even if your car is black. The outer shell that came with the mirror is not glossy like the OEM one (but that's the least of my concern), so I'd still recommend you to use your OEM outer shell if still available. One thing to note is that the outer shell might not fit the mirror perfectly, so you might have to give it a couple nudges here and there on the rim to make sure the whole shell is locked in properly. The entire installation process from taking the old mirror off to fully install the new one took me less than 15 minutes. One of the screws (the one closest to the engine) is a tiny bit misaligned (nothing major), but I was able to fit it in properly after giving it some push. The power connection works perfectly too.Overall, I'm very happy that this saved me the trip to the shop and well over $200! If I don't come back and edit this review, you can safely assume that the mirror is still serving me well!EDIT(7/24/19):For those wondering about durability of this side mirror, I just want add a quick update to let you know that it's held up very well for me for the past 2 years. There are no cracks, no leaks, and no misalignment. The power adjustment is also working perfectly. I see a lot of snow and ice where I live for a good portion of the year (northern US), and I park my car outdoors. There has been no issue whatsoever.

I was a skeptic at first to buy such an item on Amazon but I took the chance as I had really no other option for such a car passenger side Mirror replacement. Scrap car yards wanted for a used over $75 and I found this exact same part on Amazon.Removed my old rusted broken mirror and basically replaced it with this EXACT Fitting replacement mirror. I purchased the power mirror one and once I put the car key in to try the mirror it moved instantly without any issue at allVery happy customer as this fits perfectly and looks brand new now !😀

We ordered this for a 2007 Honda Civic. It fit perfectly. It was much easier to install than all the on-line videos showed. It matches the original mirror perfectly. The price couldn't be better.

Knocked the mirror off my 08 Civic SI, purchased this replacement. Super easy to pop the old one off and put the new one on, god bless Honda. Colour matched perfectly on my black 08 civic, you can't tell the difference.

If your previous mirror was a different color, keep the color plate off the old one. This one does come with black but they leave it off so you can use a different color. Makes things easier when installing.
